There are other tools like spywareblaster, spybot, adaware, ccleaner, cache cleaner, hd tune, hijackthis, microsoft antispyware, zone alarm firewall, many more.....i think they are all free downloads too. Taxman Posted January 7, 2006 Share Posted January 7, 2006 Well, if you have a windows CD, you could reformat the entire harddrive and start from scratch... If you don't....Bad, bad illegal man. In that case, I suggest deleting the larger stuff manually, then running ad-aware/spy-bot/hijackthis in safe mode. After that your computer *should* Work fine-ish. |Zephyr| Posted January 8, 2006 Share Posted January 8, 2006 I'd reccomend using and ad-aware program or spybot to get rid of all the crap, then running an antivirus program. Then either start from scratch and reinstall windows, or you could buy another harddrive and tranfer all of the stuff you want to keep onto that, then reformat the harddrive you are using atm.
