Spuds725 Posted January 7, 2006 Share Posted January 7, 2006 This is a mission is a rip off of the movie "speed"-- you have to just keep the speed up in the car enough-- you don't have to floor it--- just start driving down the main road south to viceport--- drive past the gates and turn in the open area by the semis--- cut over to the northbound side and start heading back north--- the bomb should be defused before you get back dowtown.... This is from a walkthru at gamefaqs.com.... ******************************************************************************** 6.4.3 'Publicity Tour' ******************************************************************************** Available: After the completion of the 'Hog Tied' mission. Description: Drive the Love Fist limo FAST while the band defuses a car bomb. If the car slows down too much, the detonation meter will begin to fill quickly. If the detonation meter fills up completely, the car will explode and the mission is a failure. Once the bomb is defused, you must drive the band to the concert hall in Downtown. Strategy: Go to the main road on the island to maintain the high speed. When you reach the docks in Vice Port, do a U-turn to head in the opposite direction. You must maintain a high speed while doing the U-turn to prevent the detonation meter from filling up. The bomb should be defused just before you reach the fork in the road in Downtown. Justin Posted January 7, 2006 Share Posted January 7, 2006 Yep, just to back up what others have said, you really don't have to floor it at all. Just go at a steady pace at which you're comfortable and confident of not crashing. Go on wide roads (eg. the large main road on the west island) and avoid huge turns which might lower your speed.
