Scriptkiddie
I don't think it's harder to play. From the first moment I loaded the game, it felt familiar.
GTAThomas
I was used to it because i had the PSP before LCS came out. but when i first got a game to play i thought it was a little hard, my eyes have adjusted now. although i find it very hard to play the PSP in sunlight or brightl light, the screen turns close to black. GTA3Freak-2001
Small screen? Compared to what a TV? Course it is but the PSP has the biggest screen in a handheld so if you are used to other handhelds such as the Game Boy you shouldn't find it hard to adjust to the screen. I do however think that in general the PSP and playing LCS on it can be tricky to start with what with the analog stick and the overall layout of the PSP and how you hold it etc

matt_0720
i dont know never played it but when im playing ps2 i tend to like to move the controller like when im trying to make a sharp turn (hey it seems to help) so i think i would be tempted to do that with the psp, good thing its coming out for ps2
Technical Difficulty
I found the feel of it hard for the first hour or so, but now it's pretty easy. My left hand starts to cramp after a little while though for the fingering I use.- Party on Garth

chimpsch89
the only thing i had a little trouble with was the new analog stick but now i have gotten used to it
bigtimeplaya653
exactly the controls was easy but the analog stick felt some what flemsy and small...the psp fits very well in the palm of the hand but the analog kinda feels to close to the side of the psp I would kinda liked the analog a little more to the left but i have big hands so its prolly just me otherwise the psp blew my mind with its capabilitys when it first came out ~Justin
bullymlsb
No, it's not just you. I'd say everyone who has a go on the PSP comments on the positioning of the analogue stick but you do get used to it. I actually found playing with the Playgear Pocket makes access to the analogue stick a tad easier.
Hanney
I find it a bit annoying for me with the analog i can walk great on foot but with the dpad its really hard and when im driving i find it harder to drive with the analog than i do with the dpad so i have to keep changing it in the controll options and its annoying
GTAThomas
i had the psp in my pocket (with the soft case) i pulled it out and.. the analog stick was gone! heh, i found it and it snapped right back on, i wonder if they make replacements if you lose one? Mayhem-
Its easy, but I have to keep my eyes really close to the screen.
OriginalGangster
the psp hurt my hands the first day i got it, and gta was the first game i got for it, and only one for it right now. i try to snipe my friend in multiplayer and its soo hard because they move around you only get a few lucky shots in. ATK
The only problems I have with the game are the analog stic and the camera. The analog stick thing just frstrates me sometimes because of how you have to move it. And it sucks that there isnt a right analog stick because the camera really isnt helpful. I liked it when you could move the camera while moving. And sometimes my pinky starts to hurt. But there really isnt a vision problem for me. El Kameleon
i dont have any problem playing the game at all, its just one thing that bothers me is ghosting... is it suppose to ghost so much in dark areas?? i guess i only notice it when i first start playing, but once i get into it, it goes away. btw, how many other people have at least one dead pixel on thier PSP? i have one almost right in the middle. kinda makes me mad after laying down near 300 bucks
Rob.
I think iu would rather play a game which looks good on a smaller PSP screen than play LCS on the actual TV, i heard that when EC tried the PSP2TV mod which connects the PSP up to a TV and your PS2 Dual Shock analog 2 the game looks stretched tall becuase it loses the widescreen which it was intended for, apparantly he aslo said that everything looked tall as a side-effect of this. So to be honest playing it on it's intended screen work better for me.
bigtimeplaya653
yeah I would like to connect the psp to the tv that would be great because I dont like to wear my glasses and I can't see the screen that well unless I play multiplayer i use my glasses because I like to snipe but it would be awesome to look at the tv while playing ~Justin Edited January 15, 2006 by bigtimeplaya653

Which sucks! If you look at the screen as a whole, you dont really notice it though. I had difficulty until I switched the controls from the analog stick to the d pad, and now I dont have a problem. Well, apart from the lack of L2 and R2 which control the looking left and right in cars on the PS2 games. It's good how it gives you a choice in the controls, between L & R being 'look' and x+square being handbrake, or L & dpad being 'look' and R bring handbrake. I'm constantly switching control's because I find it too difficlut to do drive by's using L+dpad and I find it too difficult using the x+square buttons for handbrake.
