Mxyzptlk
Or at least that was the plan, until people started dropping out and we were forced to do work . Until you are forced to do work. By me. While I rake in the cash.
Wesyeed
That's it. I'm done for the day; I've been struggling with this thing for two days and moviemaker keeps telling me to go stick this movie up my arse by freezing ever session. And I got to do some school stuff... So.... uh can I have a deadline extension? This is what I've got so far.
Bryce.
That was pretty good Wesyeed. We're aren't in a huge hurry for you to finish so just get it out as soon as you can.

Wesyeed
Heh, almost done. I had some pretty good stuff on friday but the video file was corrupt (not indexed) and now I have to re-do it. *sigh*, ... And to think I bought this comp because my last comp froze while I was making an animation; Over a hundred frames, painstakingly drawn- Poof, gone... I don't know how I didn't explode with rage but when I redid it, it actually was much better than I hoped. Ok, back to work...
Mxyzptlk
So far I think you are the only person trying out for director. No one cares about the awesome script I wrote or the amazing talent pooled from San Andreas Theatre for this project.

I would visit the SATP forums first though. I may want to try out for director but I definitely wont do anything until I get mah new computer. Soon hopefully. I agree mxy. Mxyzptlk
After we get a director, we'll make some clips available for potential editors to use and show off their skills. Here's the forum link, not much to see currently.

Wesyeed
Hi internet. Well here's the result of a very loooooooooong night in front of a monitor clicking away to edit the video, question your sanity, and restart moviemaker every time it froze . I should have done this on my desktop instead of laptop although that doesn't change how crappy moviemaker is. oh well... I damned my lazyness for the night to forgo sleep and it came out ok I guess. Yawn...the bitrate is 150kbs or something like that so the sound is terrible. here it is: ok then. thanks for g..zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Bryce.
It's possible to do them on PS2... I really couldn't see the intro shots being done on PS2. That is of course if Ozbrarb did them.

You can tell by video quality/draw distance etc that the video was made on PS2. Nice one Weyseed, I liked it. Get Connected.
Bryce.
I guess, but I really don't see how he did it on PS2. I guess I'm ignorant as to how optimal the PS2 can be.
dat crazy dj
well i guess i could edit if i had the time. i have adobe premiere pro from my dad (hes a videographer, so i guess it runs in the family) umm i havn't created any videos using san andreas, so this would be an interesting experience. but im one of those people that can put it together. even though im 13 years old, i am pretty good. ummm a little about me. im 13 years old, 8th grade (unfortunatly). i live in san diego, ca, usa. i specialize in audio and video. im a dj. so thats where my audio experience comes in. my dad is a videographer, so thats where my video editing experience comes in. hes taught me the basics and ive figured everything out myself. i do have alot of time on my hands since i really don't have a life. and most of my time im either here, at spuf, or djforums.com. so yeah.. epoxi
That's a good video you have so far, though it did get a bit boring watching the taxi driving around for 7 minutes, and panning around CJ several times (don't think I didn't notice a couple of shots were in a Taxi rather than a Cabbie ). Might I suggest you crop the video into 4:3? This should remove the "Press R3 to toggle taxi missions" and place names popping up, and make it better to watch on a 4:3 computer screen. You might want to consider using weather (and time) cheats to keep the weather static: many shots are foggy, and others are clear. You can tell when you're in Los Santos or San Fierro instantly, just by looking at the weather. There is a patch out there that makes weather in all of SA similar to that of the countryside, this makes for great scenery shots, and good draw distances/clear skies when it's sunny. Great effort though: great intro particularly, all you need is a better storyline, as you seem to have mastered camera angles already. epoxi
I found a tip that might help you with hiding the place names and other dialogs popping up: Wide Screen Mode To do this go to any airport, and book a flight to anywhere. When you see the plane appear on the runway put in the "destroy all vehicles" cheat. You will die, and be sent to the nearest hospital, but the screen will stay wide screen. Ya know black bars at the top, and bottom of the screen. Note:The only way to get out of the wide screen mode is to book another flight, and either jump out of the plane, continue to the other airport, or do a mission. Also you will not be able to see the map, health, or armor bars, weapon, money, wanted lvl. and you cannot pause, or save the game. from Gamespot.com

dat crazy dj
either that or while editing, you place the black bars on top and bottom (which i think i might be able to do)
