matt27689
Okay, I put it into my PC and nothing happened, I found out I needed Interactual player. I have windows and you can't get free trial, it costs $40. So, about £20. I was told to download WinDVD. So I did, and nothing. Then I checked and the disc isn't even being read. The disc runs in PS2 and DVD players. What can I do to sort it out? :I
~Neon~
I take it you mean a DVD of the TV show Friends? This may sound stupid, but do you have a DVD drive in your PC?
Bond996
You will need to install software that can decode DVD's. WinDVD and PowerDVD are two available for money, but VLC is a free one.

~Neon~
Is this with every DVD? Or just the firends one. I had a problem like this, but mine was just playing DVDs back at an unwatchable state where they were very choppy. But I never had any porblems with software and such. I fixed it by formatting my HDD and reinstalling windows. But I did this for a number of reasons, not just because of my DVD drive. So I dont suggest you do it. You sould probably look into getting the lastest drivers for your DVD drive.
matt27689
Okay, other DVDs work, but friends doesn't still. Doesn't even read. Although on the back it says this "System Requirements: DVD-ROM and Online Features require the (included) InterActual Player installed, a computer running MIcrosoft Windows 98SE or higher. Inter Explorer 5.0 or higher, and internet connection, a DVD-ROM drive. Macromedia, Shockwave." I don't have interactual player, but I have WINDVD.. It says (included) but I can't find it anywhere. reticulatingsplines
Get the Nvidia Purevideo Decoder from here. It's one of the best. This will decode DVD's in Windows Media Player or Winamp or whatever.

Well. If other DVDs work and Friends doesn't, there is something wrong with it. Any deep scrathes on the back?
~Neon~
Thats what I was thinking, but he says that it works in a PS2 and DVD players, so it cant be damaged. I realy have no idea what the problem could be, if your pc can play one dvd, I would have thought it can play all dvds.

You can get InterActual player from the Friend's DVD disc. It's free. It should have asked you to install it when you put the disc in. It has been free with most of the DVD sets I have bought. Use explorer to browse the DVD. You don't need InterActual to watch it, you need it to get the online features. If you are trying to watch it, don't bother installing it. It should have asked you to install it when you put the disc in. Thats the problem, the disc doesn't even read so I can't explore the DVD, because when I click on my computer and go to the "DVD/CD-RW Drive (D:). It's just blank. All this Crap
.....have you considered replacing the disc set? something might be wrong with the disc. If your other discs are reading....and I think you said they are.
matt27689
I just got a new DVD today. It wasn't meant for my PC but I thought I'd test it and it didn't work.
