Mayhem- Posted January 4, 2006 Share Posted January 4, 2006 I started playing GTA games with GTA1 on PS1. Basically i played for 5 minutes, took a taxi and drove around, stopped playing. Then it was GTA3, I started playing the first mission, was glued to the TV for hours just doing missions. I cant remember my first time not doing missions. Vice City i did a few missions, then started driving people down. San andreas, well, I played it for literally 7 hours straight the first time I played. When i first put san andreas in my PS2 I had So many butterflies in my stomach(no im not a rainbow warrior)\The first thing i did was walk up to the airport and the little queer at the gates like " um u need a pilots license" i was like f*ck U and i killed him and found a car and hopped on the roof and climbed over the fence and stole a Shamel so i could see what would happen if i flew into another city. As i was headed toward Mt. Chilldude or whatever the name is i received 4 stars and i was like AWW HELL NO. i then saw the hydra shooting missles at me for the first time and i practically pissed in my pants cause thats when i realized that it was one of the available planes to fly in the game and as that moment passed i realized i had taken so much damage that i couldnt fly the jet anymore and i was like OH f*ck BOOM i had hit a tree and died! The cops can't shoot you from the ground if you stay there, and you have a long view of the road right ahead of you and watch cars speeding right down and killing others, and just shooting with my rocket launcher, and the cops couldn't find the stairs. BOOM! Posted January 5, 2006 Share Posted January 5, 2006 GTA3: My very first GTA. After completeing the first mission, I went rampant with cheat codes. (Something I didn't do at the start of Vice or SA) I got max weapons and money. Instead of doing actual missions, I did stupid stuff like hopping on top of cars and shooting people as I move by with my M-16. I also drove the tank alot. Vice: I got this one used and when I started playing at first, the game would occasionally freeze on me and the buildings would always appear as indistinct polygons with no textures. After ditching this game disk as hopeless for a while, I later tried it again and experimented with ways to make it work. It turns out that it was the in-game radio that plays in your car that was causing the trouble. I turned the radio off and haven't looked back since. Sure, I didn't get to experience Vice's radio, but I was never too hip to 80's music, anyways. SanAn: The first GTA game which I actually got into. I remember spending hours just exploring Los Santos by bicycle, maxing my bike stats, bunny hopping over moving cars, and falling into water on purpose to experiment with the new swimming function. The first thing I remember doing is driving the car, but crashing into just about every telegraph pole and street light. In Vice, I got onto the Faggio and drove it around town attempting to do wheelies and stoppies. Lone Soldier D Posted January 6, 2006 Share Posted January 6, 2006 my first enconter with GTA was on a laptop someone had with him when i was 10 or somthing (97-98 maybe), remeber that i grabed a car and drive like a mainiak for 5 minute the the demo ended. after some month a friend got a copie of the game and we played it wery much the GTA 2 experiens i don't remember, but it was blood and total chaos in the citys GTA 3 got destroyed, 'cuz a friend and me cheated through the game, but the chaos, the sweet chaos GTAVC: i bougth a PS2 and played as much as i could, and dident cheat (used one code to drive over water to spred more chaos when my memory card was... somewhere). i played the game throug like 5 times and started to drive over the nazis (haitians, don't remember why they are nazis). oh, and the pre loadscreen was the best with the old school game loading thingi á la Comandore 64 made me... it was so cool anyway GTASA was a bit of a bisepointment 'cuz i thougth you whold have like 10000 ballas after you when trying to go home, but wth it was not so disapointing. I didn't evne know there were missions for a few months . GTA VC: I can remember jumping on a moped and driving about the first island. I also tested out how many cops came after you. GTA SA: I played it on my mates PS2. I just drove about causing trouble oh and base jumped off of chilliad. R.I.P. desert_eagle Posted January 6, 2006 Share Posted January 6, 2006 My first GTA experience: A bootleg of Grand theft Auto when it just came out 8 years ago, I loved it, my PC could barely run it but it was still fun. I didn't really bother with the missions, just loved to cause mayhem. Same for GTA London and GTA 2, great stuff. I made up for getting the bootlegs by buying the legal versions later on. About 5 years ago I read a preview of GTA III for the soon to be released PS2 and was so exited. When I finally got my PS2 GTA III was the first title I got, and Vice City and San Andreas were also purchased the day before they were officialy released. GTA Vice City: Trying to scab money of the cops by getting a 'Good Citizen Reward' (sorta ironic), and just running down heaps of people. I did that for about 5 hours. There use to be this be I hated and everytime I saw him I would put on the Nuttertools cheat and shoot him with every gun I had until I had no ammo left. I think it was the purple pimp who says: Damn honey, you're a hot dish! GTA San Andreas: I went to hang out with my homies and cap some Ballas. GTA 3: Starting fights and doing Taxi missions. Vice City: Driving up and down ocean drive. San Andreas: Getting bored after the first few missions so decided to drive around the countryside. I was doing all the missions, and in 3 days got to the Expresso 2 Go! mission and then I got stuck on it for months, gave up, and still haven't done it to this very day. GTA Vice City: I grabbed a bike. Hit something and flew 50 feet through the air. Then stuck to cars lol. GTA San Andreas: Finished the mission where you ride the bicycle, then tried to do some stunting because the bikes weren't so harsh as Vice City, where you were flung off for nearly everything. Tenacious G Posted January 7, 2006 Share Posted January 7, 2006 GTA III - when I first got GTA III I just messed around, shooting people, car-jacking and exploring the city, soon after that i died when i fell into the sea. GTA VC - soon as this came out I got it, spent the first 4-5 hours exploring the city, car-jacking and shooting cops, I died soon after when I was shot to death by that f*cking police choper GTA SA - wot can I say about this, complete new layout, and better controls as well as surroundings, within the first few minutes I was been shot at by these guy's in purple (didn't know they were my enemies at the time) so I ran away in almost any direction, managed to escape with only half my life bar left, afterwards I just got on the bike and travelled to Grove Street, to start the mission's.
