D Jones
Well, the title tells you what the topic means. Well, whenever I seen the 5'10'' 180 QB from Boston College chunk a 70 yard bomb with seconds left, and a reciever caught it in the endzone for the win against Miami is one of the best moments in sports. And the other is when Christian Laettner shot a half-court shot for the win against Kentucky is also consider one of the best moments in sports. Mafia Drive Gunner
Hmmm...even though I am an Aussie, probably watching the last ball of the 2nd Ashes Test between Australia and England and seeing the jubilation of an English team who won a meaningful battle for the first time in a long while. This is closely followed by Steve Waugh's last ball century against England 18 months earlier, and Australia's two worldcup victories. -MDG
pacman11
Last years US open when Andre Agassi beat James Blake 3-6 3-6 6-3 6-3 7-6 (6). That was a great match. On the final point Agassi ripped a forehand down the line. It was AWSOME!!

adamcs
Last match-day of the season in Scotland: Motherwell Vs Celtic, Hibernian Vs Rangers. Rangers were on 90 points and Celtic were top of the league with 92. With two minutes remaining, Rangers are beating Hibernian 1-0 and Celtic are beating Motherwell 1-0. Motherwell score two goals in the last few minutes of the game to hand Rangers the league. Rangers Vs Hibernian (after hearing that Motherwell had scored ) Euro 2004: Holland are surprisingly defeated 1-0 by Scotland at Hampden in the first leg. The fans are ecstatic, and everybody is confident that Scotland will pickup a result in Amsterdam and go through to the finals. In the following leg, Scotland are thrashed 6-0 and Holland go through 6-1 on aggregate. Oh man, that was funny. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/i...and/3275085.stm

I Love Anna Kournikova
California and Stanford. I think I've ended this topic. The Nebraska / Michigan game almost topped that, only if he scored the TD That was f*ckin sweet. But what made CAL Stanford game so good was him running over the trumpet player. D Jones
When Vince Young made the game winning run against USC for the Nationa Championship And whenever the Buffalo Bills scored 30+ points against the Houston Oilers to come back in a OT win. I think that's right.
woodprior383
My favorite sports moment is either MJ's free throw line dunk or Doug Flutie's hail mary pass against Miami(as much as I love Miami.) And, of course, The Miracle on Ice.
Pump Bumper
Aaron Boones extra inning home run against the Boston Redsox in game 7 to send the Yankees to the World Series and Boston home. *ahem* and then they got whooped by the marlins... I'd say it'd be in 2004 when the Red Sox came back from 0-3 to win the ALCS against the yankees. that was an absolute bitch slap how'd you feel after the sox ended that series gta_player? hide under a rock for a few months? slit your wrists? ha! If the Yankees would have won the series after Boone's extra-innings sh*t than it could be considered but they didnt because they suck dick, so red sox coming back from 0-3 in 2004 is better. Also Vinatieri's game winning kick in superbowl XXXVI was pretty good. How about the steelers Immaculate reception back in the 70s too.
Captain Keyes
If the Saints would have made that extra point last year, which would have put them in the playoffs was awesome... Are you talking about that one game against the Jaguars two years ago when the Saints had an 80 yard TD run with like three or four laterals and time expiring, and then John Carney missed the extra point? I think I lost money on that game. One other moment I can think of right now is the Titans coming within like one yard from tying the Rams in Superbowl XXXIV as time expired. darthYENIK
Hands down, the miracle on ice. US college hockey players, beat the soviet union, who were considered the greatest hockey team of all time, during the 1980 winter olympics. In a close second would be the 2004 ALCS, Boston vs. New York, we all know the story.

catmandoza
Best Moment in sport, well football. May 26th 2003. Millennium Stadium Cardiff. First Division Play-off Final. Wolves Smash 3 first half goals past Sheff Utd, to reach the premiership. And of course in the Premiership season January 17, 2004, Molineux Stadium. Wolves 1 - 0 Manchester United. What A Day. That was the most exciting plays I've seen in a while. They threw the ball straight across the field 1-2 times. But, I did laugh when John Carney missed the field goal. And the Tennessee Titan kickoff return against the Buffalo Bills to go to the SuperBowl back in 2000.
