Thunderduck
1) I spent literally hours defeating all the rival gangs and making all the territories be under my control... absolutely nothing happened in the game when I did this, not even a congratulation message... then a few missions later CJ has to leave his neighborhood and flee to Angel Pine when his brother gets sent to jail...and I lost the income that my house in Ganton was generating! All that work for nothing... is this a sick joke from Rockstar? 2) I made sure to buy EVERY single property in the game... nothing even happened... wasnt I supposed to get a reward for doing that? All that work for nothing... is this a sick joke from Rockstar? It gets worse than that, I'm afraid. The reason the income at the Ganton house goes away is because all the territories you gained were taken away from you and given back to the Ballas and Vagos. If you check the stats, you will see Grove St now has 0 territory. I do think that area of the game is poorly designed, but I know that's not much consolation. 2) I made sure to buy EVERY single property in the game... nothing even happened... wasnt I supposed to get a reward for doing that? TDuck Nope. There has never been an intrinsic reward for buying all the properties, at least not in the GTA3-series. Your reward for buying safe house properties is that you have more places to save, more places to change your clothes, and more space to store vehicles. Your reward for buying asset properties is that it unlocks the missions they have. They are required for 100% and so will eventually lead to the 100% rewards, but there's nothing special simply for buying properties.
