fuckindumass
ok, um....first, UVMAP AFter you create a material in Zmod, you have to map it out on your object (UVMapping). Since you saw your whole texture in one spot (and probably upside down)on your model, you will find when you get into the UVMapper that your model is much bigger than your texture in zmod. You will need to scale it down and map it to the texture. In the tutorial forum, you will find a great UVMapping tutorial.....link to tutorial forum is on the left, under GTA Modding 2nd, smoothing. I am guessing you do not know what normals are, or detaching. Normals are used to communicate to the game how to reflect light from that point. Smoothing is used when you have multiple normals at one coordinate. Detach is used to seperate an object into seperate objects. I usually use detach when I need to create a hard line, like a sharp corner. Detaching is done by selecting faces you want to detach and then apply the detach tool (create/objects/detach) All these things are explained in detail in the tutorial forum. Once you get a handle on what these things are, if you still have trouble, come back and ask again. At this point the experts here would have to walk you through too much basic modeling to help you with the time they have available.
