Romy and Michelles High school reunion? its evil Try "Dont Look Now" (think thats the name, someone may correct me, it had donald sutherland in it) Spooky stuff. Actually, it could be better if you tell us some of the films that you have already seen. Edited January 4, 2006 by OH NO

soldier203
how about "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre" the original from 1974, which is much better than the remake from 2003, i'm sure many of you will disagree on that one, but that's just my opinion. soldier203
i'm looking for scary movies, not horror movies. READ THE f*ckING TOPIC. easy there man, now first of all, you need to relax, i don't tolerate such behavior from anybody, and second of all, you're right, i didn't know you were looking for "genuinely scary movies", i didn't see that one, but just because of that you don't need to act that way, if you know what i mean. anyway, i suggest you look on imdb. they have pretty much everything you're looking for. Digital Murders
Evil DeadEvil Dead 2 Army of Darkness Bubba ho-Tep He said scary movies, not comedy. I can't really think of scary movies, as no movie is really scary to me. The only one I can think of is The Exorcist. Gigli was also a little scary. WidowMaker
Go old school and watch "The Shining". The Shining is old school now? It's only from the 80s. If you're over 11 years old and looking for a scary movie you're going to have a tough f*cking time finding one. I recommend Onibaba and Kuroneko, good luck getting a hold of them. Hmmm, the perfect movie to f*ck with your mind, because it is just so unexpecting and disgusting, yet has very much possible scenarios, which will f*ck with your mind. The movie is called 'Saw'. Watch them both if you must, 'Saw' and 'Saw II' -MDG

Night Shiver
Try The Thing, altough it is techinally a horror film..it still is quite scary and very suspenseful. And if you really want an old school clasic, Try Night of the living dead. The orginal one, not the remake. Youll be very suprised at what you see in that movie. It's about a Vietnam vet who returns home, only to start seeing horrific visions of demons, his dead son and flashbacks to Nam. Of course, you could always try the ultimate mindf*ck director, David Lynch. Check out Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway. Or even Eraserhead, if you can get hold of it. I can't even begin to explain what those movies are about.
