NicAgent Posted January 3, 2006 Share Posted January 3, 2006 Every time I play this mission, on my way out of the army base with the jetpack, the game crashes with the all-too familiar screen "GTA-SA.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close...". Nope, but I did from time to time use cheat codes (though I doubt that's the problem). There is nothing wrong with the way the game runs on my computer, as it is running perfectly fine when it blacks out and shows me the error message. Have you tried reinstalling the game? When I try to enter the "Johnson House", I am teleported to some place in San Fierro bay. 2. When I try to go to the Driving School in Doherty, I am teleported right back outside of it. 3. The "Yellow Serpent" symbol used by Wu-Zi-Mu is off the map, some place in the water north of Las Venturas (it does appear though). 4. Going into the Save House in Fort Carson teleports me to a ZIP clothing store. How could this be? Remember, I did use cheat codes, though can they really cause such problems? Cheat codes should not have those types of effects. Sounds like something has gone quite wrong with one or more of the data files. If I were you, I'd back up my save games, uninstall, delete the game folder, and reinstall. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
NicAgent Posted January 5, 2006 Author Share Posted January 5, 2006 Well apparently that would seem possible. I would back up my save files by saving the "save" folder when the game gets reinstalled? I think there is some bug with the interiors, cause that's what seems to happen. I thought that cheat codes could have done this due to the fact that they advise you not to save your game if cheats have been used. Go to My Documents > San Andreas user Files, and you should have your save games in there, save them somewhere else, reinstall the game, put them back in My Documents > San Andreas user Files, play - if the same error occurs, either start a new game and see if that helps, or post up your specs - as that may be the cause for all of this. - Mike Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
