poison
hi, I've spent about a week trying to beat some of the flight school missions, and I just cant do it. a couple of the missions are done, but not all of them. could someone please help me? the file is here: http://bluehydraro.hostnmore.com/snp/?mode...6b97e1984eae36d there are no mods installed, but I do use cheats, I dont know if that matters though. I saved at the abandoned air strip. if you help me, you will become my own personal jesus and enable me to enjoy the game again. thanks. oh, and I dont care if you get gold medals or not, I just want it passed so I can move on in the game. balmung03
for: poison mission: learning to fly (all gold; yeah, you told me it wasnt necessary, but im a perfectionist ) helper: balmung03 link: http://bluehydraro.hostnmore.com/snp/?mode...e6bbc8f249baf79 since you seem to have a little trouble with the flying portion of the game, i decided to do the next mission as well, but in a separate savefile. the one above is for just the flying school; the one below is the flying school + the next airfield mission, N.O.E. mission: N.O.E. link: http://bluehydraro.hostnmore.com/snp/?mode...295526c5f7f5fb0 be advised that in both savefiles, you had an incoming call i chose to ignore for the time being, it will ring again not too long after you step outside (before you can even get to the mission marker, if you run) if you wish to try N.O.E. for yourself, though, i will include a small list of suggestions for you; move your mouse over the black to see the hidden text: if your trouble in this mission is trying to stay low over the terrain, try taking the water route to the west, and travel down the west coast of san fierro to angel pine if your trouble is time, however, try to plan an almost-straight route, bobbing up and down to stay low (and watch the very thin, but very high light poles at san fierro airport, they can easily bring you down if youre not careful) if you cant stay low and time is also a problem, just fly above the radar the entire time (its what i do), and wait until toreno warns you that you have company ("watch your six"); at this time, look at your map to see one or two red dots. each of these dots is a harrier jet (in the game, they are called hydras, and yes, you will be able to fly one later on). when they get close enough to you, they will fire heat-seeking missles at you, probably 2 or 3 at a time; however, if you are keeping high (and this is why they chase you), simply press the down arrow key (to lift your plane higher) plus a directional arrow (to roll your plane to one side); the result is that you will perform a half-loop the loop/half-barrel roll move, and 90% of the time will avoid the missle. take your time when you get to the dropoff point, and make sure you go through it; you dont want to have to swing around and try going through it again with jets on your tail, and even if you kept low, its still wasting valuable time. and dont worry if you get hit with a missle once; it takes 3 to bring your plane down. i hope this helps, and i wish you luck in the rest of the game. enjoy.
