Nipa
I don't have a X360, but I know what the problem is. With some X360's, the PSU is bad and when put on the ground it overheats and makes the game/whatever freeze up and crash. Solution was to lift the PSU up with something, and it would be solved. (yes i did a lot of reading on the subject) -Nipa

Knucklehead
Mine works fine. My friend got one that froze but then he called 1-800-4MYBOX and in 4 days(1 to get in the box to send it back, 2 for them to repair it, and 1 for the day he got it back) he had his back. I just want to know before I buy it, does yours haywire and freeze up? Depending on how badly you want one, I would wait for a revision. The majority of people may not be having the problems reported, but they also haven't had the console more than 6 weeks thus far. Even in a year's time, I can't see the failure rate being abnormally high though. You might want to read some reviews like this one, this one and one that discusses some of the mistakes Microsoft may have made. Personally, I think the 360 has a lot of power and potential behind it, but I'm content to wait it out untill a revision comes along, unless Saint's Row is exceptionally great, then I might buckle. Grandthefter
Mine works fine when it doesn't overheat. Which it's done... about twice since i got it. And for some reason its only during NFS. But i've set up a desk fan that'll blow cold air onto it so it hasn't happened when its been on. But theres no reason not to buy one if breaking is your only concern
RMT
Mine works fine. Out of all the people I know who have one, no-ones has blown up or melted. Most polls are revealing that a very very very small fraction of the number of units out there are defective. But that's true with anything electronic. Wait till March. Alot of good/promising games are coming out around that time. Chances are there'll be some mouth watering console bundles. Pacrel Focre
NOSA
Yes it works. Not a single problem, after weeks of gameplay.

TRUENO Sounds like bullsh*t. I don't really see the problem. There were however many thousand made, a couple had problems, and it gets out of hand. You can get it fixed for nothing if you're one of the REALLY unlucky ones to get one that doesn't work properly anyway.
The-end
I dotn realy see why you gusy are all after the 360's from what ive heard there just a graphicly improovement which is noticable....sounds sh*te to me

The only way I can see people thinking the 360 and PS3 won't be much in lines of improvement are those who weren't old enough to experience the evolution of gaming first hand. If you heard that the 360 is not much graphically, you're talking to somebody who's playing on a sh*te TV which happens to be, unforunately, the most common type. Tell them to find a way to make it output to VGA/DVI and hook it up to a computer monitor, then you'll REALLY see the graphical improvement. Night Shiver
I remember that when the regular xbox first came out, it had some defects. It probably some minor techincal manufactering problems but usually mircosoft gets right on it. And the xbox 360, some new products that have been sold did infact have some defects to it. But, like i said. They'll get right on it and come out with same thing but better just like the ps2 did with the skinner machine box...but other than that. It sounds very good, i would get one if i had the money ..but, you should get one while you still have the chance..
