I'm not really a fan of either but The Chronic and Doggystyle are both great albums. Most of their other stuff is pretty sh*tty compared to those two albums.

Yeah, they are definitely past their primes, but definitely one of the best. They were the pioneers of the sound G-funk, which is an awesome blend of many different music styles. That was way back when Snoop Dogg could actually rap.

Doggystyle was good and The Chronic is still one of my favorite rap albums of all time. Song after song is great. I'm especially fond of Stranded on Deathrow. The Chronic 2001 was ok too. Snoop's recent sh*t sucks though, and I hope if Dre ever decides to come out with that f*cking album Detox, it will be good.

Dre aint a full fledge "rapper"...he has had ghostwriters thruout his career like Emenim,D.O.C.,MC Ren,Ice Cube and many others......Dre knows how to rap,has a good voice and has rapped on more than one classic hip hop track.Dre is a legend in the business for his rapping and his production.

I never really knew much about Dr. Dre or Snoop Dogg, but in the past year I have started to listen to them more and Dre has become one of my favorite artists. I know his rapping isn't great, but the G-funk beats make up for that. I don't like Snoop as much as Dre, but he's still pretty good.
