Mayhem- Posted January 3, 2006 Share Posted January 3, 2006 Hi, i'm going to buy 2.0, and im wondering exactly what mods will work with version 2.0 of san andreas? i know that car mods, ped mods, etc won't work because you can't mod gta3.img., And i know the all in one mod will work, but what else will? The 2.0 in IMG tool doesn't refer to the version of SA, its just the second release of the program, no matter what program you use to edit the gta3.img it will crash the game when trying to load it. As far as I know if it doesnt' require gta3.img adding or replacing of files then it should still work so handling changes, vehicle group changes, mission mods and other text based changes. Ok then you can't mod the game when it involves textures and models which cover .img files most importantly gta3.img which is where majority of data lies. What you do privately is your own business, but posting exe links on the forums is against the rules and would probably be dealt with harshly.
