fuckindumass
I would delete the .img file, and put the copy I made of it after installing the game in it's place, then I guess I would start up the game, see that it works, shut it down, and try installing the mod(s) again....if you didn't copy the file before messing with it, I guess reinstalling the game is the next best thing

DexX
do you have the version 2.00 copy of SA? if so, then you cannot modify it. You can tell what version you have either by looking at the front of the packaging, where it will say "Version 2.0" on the front, bottom of the cover of the box. Or, you can look at the main menu screen, and the version number, if any, will be displayed in the lower right corner. 2.00 - not moddable 1.01 - limited modding (most major mods, but no trainers) 1.00 - 100% mod capability. no version number will be displayed See the pinned topic in this section for more info. DexX
oops. sorry, alot of times people dont use those, so i tend to ignore them regarding your problem, make sure your extracting the original file that your going to replace, and make a backup of it. once you do that REPLACE it in the img, with your new model, and be sure to Re-Build the archive before you try it ingame. rebuilding is essential. Do not rename the original file in the img and add a new one, because the game doesn't like unused filees in the img and tends to cause errors. besides that, its a waste of space and memory. Chaos27
is the DVD-ROM "Second Edition" game the version 2.0? Because i modded it and it worked fine. I used a no-cd crack from ...could that be the reason i can mod it?
Simon.
is the DVD-ROM "Second Edition" game the version 2.0? Because i modded it and it worked fine. I used a no-cd crack from ...could that be the reason i can mod it? That new .exe you got "is" the reason you can mod it, as it is a 1.0 exe. But now remove the name as that is still technically showing someone where to go .

Why would rockstar....I mean it's so easily bypassable. Jesus!
