Kaj.
Ok, so I use WMP (Windows Media Player, for those of you who should know what it is) and occasionally when I go into the Media Library after a few seconds it goes to the Blue Screen of Death. It has the typical standard text of the BCOD, and the Technical Info is: ***STOP: 0x0000008E (0x00000004, 0x804D4D02, 0xF32C37E0, 0x00000000) I'm running on Windows XP SP1 (I recently formatted my hard drive and my WinXP setup disks are from before SP2 was released. I'm also on dial up without unlimited access, so it'd take quite a while to update.) Anybody have any ideas?
Bond996
Which version of WMP are you running? I think SP1 still ships with 8 by default, and 9 comes with SP2, and 10 is downloadable. So which one is it, and consider upgrading to 10?
Kaj.
Oh, it's WMP 10. I had all the setup files for the apps I use on a regular basis on my USB MemStick.
