fastest boat
Have you recently found a new location in VC after perhaps years of playing the game?
Knife
There are no real secret locations in vice city. We found 3 objects that are not used in game and thats it (found using programs for modding). I can tell you for sure there is no secret locations.... Knife
What were the objects that weren't used in the game but were on the disc? Uhm.. a funny looking dock type thing, an icon with headphones on and something else. Not anything of any interest
Holmes
I discovered the back of the Cherry Poppers factory after I completed "Keep your friends close..." when I zoomed of Starfish Island with a bike and flew over a wall onto a box. fastest boat
went to university there. Used to live in withington. What is the purpose of the lighthouse in VC anyone?
Holmes
(Cool! That university is cool, I had a tour of the science section there) To look pretty I reckon. Shame it didn't pose any purpose really, I would have loved to blow up boats trying to get to the shore from the top.

Spuds725
he probably means Craig Kostelecky---one of the modders... Dem, did you find them on the disc, or are they in a location in VC... if in a location, where and how is it accessed (an interior have to be loaded???). I'd like you to add it to the hidden interiors thread if its viewable. ali_r
I haven't seen anything in Vice City I haven't seen before, but recently, I read on a Dutch forum, that the airbase isn't how it was supposed to be, look at this map: EDIT: Didn't saw the hotlink pic, go to the page in the post below. source: http://nl.wikigta.org/index.php/Main_Page To the post after this, That's from the same site. If it's not allowed to post it like this, sorry, than a moderator or admin can edit my post. Edited December 26, 2005 by ali_r

Spuds725
That certainly makes more sense.... I always wondered why their was a short curved runway behind the other terminal--- no ways for those jets to take off... Here is the map they are referring to.. http://nl.wikigta.org/index.php/Image:GTAV...constructie.PNG My German Dutch sucks so don't know what that page says... Also, the sign above the entrance to that 2nd runway-- says "parking"... //edit// here is the translation of that page via babelfish.... http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/t...Baxter_Air_Base //edit #2// If you can muddle through that translation, you can see the evidence.. most obvious is the street race map being the original game map.... I'd noticed the street race map was wrong for the race-- VC endurance... the map has you drive through vice port.... but never noticed or heard of this.... I find it pretty interesting.... I'd also seen the "tower" from the mansion before the west island loads.... http://nl.wikigta.org/index.php/Image:Ghost_Tower.JPG I might fly a Rhino real high with the low gravity cheat and see if you can see it with the east island loaded... Demarest
Dem, did you find them on the disc, or are they in a location in VC... if in a location, where and how is it accessed (an interior have to be loaded???). I'd like you to add it to the hidden interiors thread if its viewable. The LC files were circulating many months before being publically released. The entire time, nobody could figure out why going near the back of the airport would crash the game. After a LOT of research and tweak attempts, I was able to determine that the escalators in VC are all but hard-coded. The ones at the airport terminal in VC were still showing up and crashing the game. Once I told them not to appear, they no longer crashed the game, but you could run into them still. Once I blanked their collision data though, they were gone. So nothing secret in VC. That's what I meant by pulling a Craig

pdescobar
Erm... I know there's something different there... but what? I took the image Spuds rehosted and a colored radar image Killer789 posted a while back and made a quick visual comparison of the major differences. It's posted below. The summary of the major changes I saw: There's no stadium and a bit less coast in the NW part of the Dutch map There's way less beach in the NE part of the Dutch map Fort Baxter is much larger and contains a long runway in the Dutch map Viceport has a small waterway cutting into it in the Dutch map In the SE corner, the coastline is much plainer in the Dutch map
Demarest
Woah! Why is that? The lack of extra beach would make both Paramedic and Pizza Boy more challenging I would think.
Justin
Woah! Why is that? The lack of extra beach would make both Paramedic and Pizza Boy more challenging I would think. Agreed. I always make use of the large expanse of empty beach. The waterway at Vice Port would have been interesting, though.
