Mr.Stevo
I been having slow downs or just performace lag in some several games(like BF1942 w/ Desert Combat). So I been thinking about adding a 512MB stick to my PC, but I really want to know if this problem will go away. I know that its realy going to help in some other programs since it will be 1GB when I upgrade Maybe its the graphics card since Im stuck with a crappy Geforce 420 MX. But will it really help to remove the problem?
Luke15
To get the best performance, a graphics card upgrade aswell as more ram would help things speed up. also could you give us your full specs, to see the whole show please
Wolf68k
You will see some performance increase but minimal. Getting a new GFX card would be the better thing to get. What is your CPU?

The PSU is around like 240 Watts...which for 6600GT I need 300 Watts or more.

AMF 4ever. -digital
Bond996
Well a RAM upgrade will help your system, a GFX card will probably be the only thing to get you a significant boost in performance in gaming things. You really should upgrade your PSU if it can't handle a new GFX card. Perhaps get a new PSU and a Radeon 9600XT, or a basic 6600 or even a 6200. I don't think a 6600GT is worth it.
