Yeah, I use a Logitech wireless Rumblepad. You get it (or any other gamepad, I guess) set up like you want it, and you don't have to do anything special to switch. You can use it and the keyboard at basically the same time. For example, I don't have any button on the gamepad set to enter or exit a vehicle, after some unpleasant experiences where I accidentally exited an aircraft in midair. So I just use the keyboard to enter an aircraft, then pick up the gamepad and use it without doing any kind of control setting. Anyway, I'm on it.
