~Giggle~
I ask because I have reinstalled Xp by myself before and the situation arises that I need to do it for 2000 Professional. So, is it any harder than an XP install?
Waste
Not really. Just google for the process and make sure you are familiar with the steps before you go on.
~Giggle~
I already got past all that but I have a problem with the serial, the guy who gave us the disc never mentioned the serial.

SyphonPayne
If you have XP on the machine, why bother with Windows 2000?? XP is based on 2000 and has many improvements over it.
CrazyDude
If you have XP on the machine, why bother with Windows 2000?? XP is based on 2000 and has many improvements over it. And tons of useless crap. I use 2000, Xp home, and XP pro on different computers in my life, and I like the "streamline" effect of 2000. It just seems like it's a stable os without all the crap like xp. That said I would not uninstall a working XP set-up just to put on 2000.
