91RS
Alright, well I've got my handling line pretty good but I have two things I want to fix and I don't know how because I suck at making these all myself. First is the biggest thing, and that's the steering. It flat out sucks. I checked the neutral steering flag and it made it better, but it still sucks. What setting do I need to play around with to get it to steer better (at slow and high speeds)? My next thing is that I'd like it to be more "floaty" like a Cadillac, so which setting should I play around with? Thanks ahead of time for any help. tony_fish
I'm not sure, but try the TractionMultiplier. I'm absolutely not sure about this, but you can always try it.
Picolini
When i use a mod for a vehicle that i dont like the handling for i just copy the handling line from a vehicle that has similar driving characteristics that you want. So if you want a boaty car that handles nice, i'd go for something like the broadway, hermes, or elegant... then just tweak it slightly to get it just right. Cerbera's site here has definitions on what is what for pretty much everything in the handling file. So that helps you understand what you are changing better. I had to do this with the mclaren and BMW formula 1 race cars. They roll like a 30 foot tall garbage trucks.... now i have them down pretty good. My problem is getting them to accelerate good, but not lose traction on turns. But then its hard to not give it too much traction, then it flips, and too little it slides. So you gotta change the numbers very carefully. I suggest changin one or 2 stats at once, and testing a lot.
