I uploaded your files nath247, so if any of you would like to try the vice version that nath has made its in the download. I still haven't tryed it but it looks pretty sweet.

 

Any of you 700 some people that have downloaded this thing have any ideas of what to add/needs improvment/flat out sucks duck? Crazy stunts, more realistic, easter eggs, tunnels, roads, mission ideas, anything? Give me some ideas and maybe I'll update this thing biggrin.gif .

Nice I downloaded The mod I like it alot any way to get it so that you can have water on the islands and an opening to drive the boats of the island and land in the ocean then some spiraling waterway to go back up wpuld that be a good ideal?

 

Also How do u make ingame videos ?? I really need to make some for my street racing website smile.gif

I havent touched it since my copy of windows went wonky back in Febuary, and I havn

t heard anything from Nath on his progress in a while. SA has a col limit thats holding this back, so right now its just a waiting game untill someone relases a limit adjuster for SA like VC's.

 

@sliced cheese, it should be pretty easy to see. So if theres nothing in the sky somthings wrong. If your using naths vc verison make sure you use the scm. or else you won't be able to get up there. The full conversoin should spawn you right up there in town.

 

@cars 1106, I tryed getting water up that high, but it knocks a hole in the water below it, SA has some streams that are col controlled, so we'll have to wait and see how that goes. Try using Fraps for in game movies, or some other similer screen capture software.

 

If I did pick up the VC version again, what would you guys like to see more off? Huge jumps, stunts, towns, country side?

Yes im still here, Havent been on for a while due to upgrading my motherboard and graphics card, been having trouble with SA as the SA Map Cleaner doesnt like these pieces of land, I think it may be best to continue the mod on the VC version for now.

I got your emails about using FI in Sol, i've checked this out and it seems like a very nice mod..

I have it working perfectly in game.

 

I have put aside ID's for the development of floaty islands, and a large peice of the map area that your free to use with unlimited COL, COL, 2dFX and IDE limits.

 

I have placed Floaty islands East of VC, about 2000 units from the beach.

Wow thats some great work Mc-Kay, your a modding machine! Thanks for leaving some open ID's also, I'll have to get off my butt and get modding again, this is awsome. Did you see the little tribute to stargate atlantis in there, I cant remember if it was in the gtagarage one or one of my work in progress backups. It was nothing on the scale of what you were working on a while back though.

EDIT: Have you thought of getting a new line of farmer peds???

I've not been able to get map mods in SA, and I don't really want too at this point untill there is a limit changer like the one for Vice that will allow for more cols and IDEs. The trailors and farmers wood be cool though.. at this point I think the mods new home is in SOL, although I might split it into a floaty version too just for the big air jumps.

One more thing, does anyone know were this mod got posted? A few months back it was around 2,000 downloads and at last check it was pushing 170,000. I think it got some good publicity somewhere but I don't know where. If you guys have any clues as to were its at I'd really like to know so I could add it to my little GTA mods scrapbook thing. inlove.gif Wow thats dorky lol

I've released another version of SOL, 44.2v5 on GTAG, this version has Floaty islands in it, all the bugs fixed plus an ID list, so you can get cracking on with your project.
