Mxyzptlk
Maybe you need to go to the Nvidia website and update your drivers?
vALKYR
I would update my motherboard bios and/or drivers. If the problem persists and appear in other games, it's probably your card.
Mike0
Maybe the game has problems with Windows Media Center Edition. It says on the box that it supports only 2000 and XP. (But it should work on MCE too, because the core is the same I think.)

List of Versions of Windows XP that should support GTA San Andreas: Windows XP 2002 Windows XP SP1 Windows XP SP2 Windows XP Media Center 2003 Windows XP Media Center 2005
MangoDan
The IRQL Less or Not Equal To error usually is caused when 2 or more devices in your PC have an IRQ conflict. Some PC's bios allow you to manually assign IRQ's to certain devices, so that you can work around them .. it's worth a try .. check to see if you're video card and sound card or any other device that is being used at the same time while playing the game are assigned the same IRQ's. Normaly IRQ conflicts are should not be an issue, but it does happen from time to time.

Yeah, that could be possible that one or more devices have the same interrupt requests (IRQ) When they have the same adress, a device can ask for data from the Processor after he has interruptted his work. When another device does this at the same time, the CPU goes mental and it's done = blue screen. I suggest going into your BIOS and first reset all settings or update your BIOS. If that doesn't help, do what the above post said.
