DeathSquad
Greetings, Been working two nights self-teaching how to get map objects into San An. Mc-Kay here on the forums is going to research into my problem, but I figured I might as well try a public post too, more heads is better than one. Anything I create in Zmod2 when exported as a Map Object does not appear in the game, the object -is- in game as the object is solid, has collision, but is invisable. Been playing with a giant sphere for the last two days, after a good hundred tries, even comparing all data from my model with Ocram's map mods, I couldn't find squat. Finally notice in Basic Paremeters in the Material Editor, that the color bars on Ocram's models were cranked full. I cranked them full, and suddenly the sphere appears in game. I was happy, I moved onto a model I was trying to get into game. Once again, invisable but in game. Made a square, and so far have figured it out. In short I did something and have no f---ing clue as to what. As said everything is in place, correct and working minus the object being visable. Anyone got a clue what is wrong? EDIT 12/18/05: How do you spell stupid? Deathsquad.....I spent roughly 2 nights in frustration as to why nothing would appear except the collision data. Well you f*cking moron, maybe you should actually select export for San An and not Vice. I was under the assumption that "Save Type As: GTA San Andreas (Dff)" meant it was going to export it as a San An DFF, and like a retard I finally noticed the DFF Version Box. No cookie for me. Lock & Burn this now, I feel ashamed I wasted space for something so stupid. Edited December 18, 2005 by DeathSquad
