pdescobar Posted December 15, 2005 Share Posted December 15, 2005 Actually, I think that refers to before "Yay Ka Boom-Boom" is complete when the blockades are up since they cause huge invisible barriers. I believe the easiest thing to do is load up a game between "Green Sabre" and "Yay Ka Boom-Boom", grab the Maverick at the SF airport, and then head over to the Gant Bridge. The invisible barrier starts at the second set of blockades (not the ones at the toll booth but further north near the first support tower). I'm not sure how high you need to be to get on top of the barrier though so you'll have to experiment a bit. If you don't have a save from that part of the game, you could do it earlier but you'd need to input the "Never Wanted" cheat first to avoid the 4-star level from trespassing. NightHawk231 Posted December 16, 2005 Share Posted December 16, 2005 (edited) The barricade does not extend the whole length of the bridge... The one on the north side is not quite as tall but is just as wide and deep... I tested this using the "weapons spark" method... Once you've walked north off that southern barricade you can walk on the bridge itself... Providing you don't die that is as the barricade is really, really tall on the south side... You'll need your parachute... This is only cool if you just happen to like walking on bridges without any intervening traffic... Of course, you'll probably get the four star wanted level and the understandably pissed police response for not having paid the toll... Sorta pisses me off as I'd done all the Unique Jumps but kept getting smashed trying to do the final one off the southern right side of the bridge... The "helix barrier" (as the game code calls them...Thanx to Craig C.) extends out to the side so far that it's impossible to do the jump while it's in place)... Ive been playing around with the idea of "painting" those barriers with a checkerboard pattern just to see their exact dimensions but stupid things like work and sleep keep interrupting my hacking.
