ungibbed Posted December 17, 2005 Share Posted December 17, 2005 I actually ended up buying GTA:SA for the PS2 due to the audio problems I was having with the PC version. While it isn't as nice to look at, the control is better (analog action buttons = better vehicle control) and no stuttering audio. I wish they would come up with a fix or just somehow add the miles audio library support like in the previous GTA games. (GTA 3 / Vice City) They worked great. The patch 1.01 already IS official. But there is no patch for 2.00. And my theory is that 2.00 only disables mods, and removes hot coffee scenes, but does not include fixes from 1.01. Someone should check if my theory is true. Simply by checking if the cars get cleaned properly on medium and bigger graphics settings. Anyone who has 2.00 should check it out and post the results here. If the cars don't get clean, that means that 2.00 is actually "worse" than 1.01. in a way.
