Teggy13 Posted December 14, 2005 Share Posted December 14, 2005 HELP edisoncater i have a challenge for you and anyone else who is willing... heres my problem. i made a backup copy of my savegame if save file spot 2, and loaded up cheatdevice 3.0 (top effort on that btw m8) anyway, thinking that im pretty good with computers, i decied to screw around with my savegame using a usb cable so i opened up PARAM.SFO using notepad and decided to add some text after day XX, $XXXX. I add Tynan Rules! after day XX and saved it, thus corrupting the file . ive tried everythign i can to get it back , but nothign has workd as of yet. if anyone has any ideas to help please say something, i dont want to start agina from the start. thanks guys! Fast reply?, Anyway, just take off the files. back them up, take off whatever you added, and reload the files, when i say this i mean every single saved file. dcann Posted December 15, 2005 Share Posted December 15, 2005 If you don't want to lose game...maybe try finding someone with the same precent as you were? Or at the same missions? Or if its just the cheat device delete it, from PC and PSP, and then just re-download it and put the new Downloaded on the PSP. Hope that helps ! Teggy13 Posted December 18, 2005 Author Share Posted December 18, 2005 yeah dcann sounds like a good idea. i was up to staunton island with firetruck missions done, vigilante, avenging angles - staunton islan, love media garage list done, car salesman level 4. i was trying to complete the mission where you take control of paul sindaccos car and ram all the forellis. if anyone is even close to this stage please let me know. cheers guys.
