Carface80
Im modeling it on Maya (very commond 3d app for movies like star wars) also to keep my modeling skills on both program fresh...i had them when i took courses at school....they are much like 3ds max but more leaning on production 3d animation..Im way faster than zmod.. Im still using zmod for final touches (like porting to the game) zmod is good for low poly...but on high poly...once you put all the geos then the shape is wrong...im gonna bahs the monitor lol. yes this is going to be San andreas...what else? i seen a lot of modded cars looks horrable...and its nothing to do with modeling quality, in fact some are glowing and some of them looks like having a constant shaders on it (mostly they put a bright material color in it).....ug i wanna avoid that and ill texture whenever is neccesary..to fill the void.. Ghetto Smurf
Where can i get this Maya program?
Strike Viper
A modeling program such as Maya will probably cost anything upwards of $100...^ And the Blazer's looking great! Don't give up on it. I can't wait to replace my crappy Rancher with this...

Rebel2345
B-E-A-Utiful. You should do some kind of modified offroad version too.. which basicly would just consist of fitting some 35's on there.
123abc
That's lookin really good. Very nice details, engine is top notch, body is very nice. I love it! ::rawr::
Carface80
@Rebel: hmmm maybe i can make the tires fatter...or making it "customzable" in san andreas... funny thing you can't damage the fender with stock SA cars...is it possible to damage em'? is there a good tutorial about putting cars in san andreas well i can dig it myself..since i have some time to chase here it ther is a site that will be a big help.. Ok the truck modeling is done, except that darn badge...if i can find a good photo i can slapped on or else ill just pint it....definitely texture it than fully model it...now reching the final tally is 25,000-26000 not iclude damage model...compare that to 32000-40000 from similar vehicle mods....(SPC anyone) im probaby going to do some little shaving or optimization...some parts have too much poly than it desserves and re-distribute it to other parts needs more geos.....since it nod on zmod anymore...shaving some poly is a little easier... Carface80
Ok one thing, if i can use the monster suspension system for this truck, now you probably going to have a animated axles..im starting to texture this truck as soon as this chores im doing is done..and yes its going to be fairly textured.. i will posted some in game screen as soon i figure how to import this truck to SA.. Carface80
Texturing is far more tedious than i thought and im crawling along the body panels (yes, the body is fully textured just in case for a rusty option or other funky paintjobs). A one day work turns into 2 days ...simply pathetic im probably still not in the mood..i keep stopping and do uneccesary crap. oh well much of it are textured except the undies, engines and instrument....bla bla... YES it will comes with animated suspension and possible some options like bull bars (if time permits) EDIT: im gathering more refs for 442 so im probably going to do more texturing and less poly..but not ridiculously low poly....just right....i guess

Nurburing
2 questions: 1- Do the model have extras ( like bumpers, bulbars, lights...) ? 2- Will the Blazer be modifiable intp Transfender ( for the offroad wheel ) And I think in can do an Rockcrawler handling for the truck ( If you want sure ) Edit: I think you should do a police version ( just add lights on the top a grafix ) Edited December 31, 2005 by Nurburing

Carface80
Im such a N0000000000000B!I got some MAJOR learning curve issues on zmod2. I just touched it today or Aproximately 1 year ago since the last time i used zmod1 now, despite of some similarities, zmod 2 is driving me nuts....or maybe impatience already consumed me..I got unwrapped and ready to port it, but zmod is simply bogs me down... <off topic> Things i haVE TO LEARN: 1. How to duplicate and mirror geometry (let say duplicating door) 2. how to access uv texture editor (very important) 3. how to put reflection maps. 4. adding extra for transfender 5. hierachy 6. ...any other important steps...that i cant think of.. wait im off topic here..PM me about these stuff... </off topic> @Nurburing: I would love to do transfender, multiple rims, bullbars, removable camper....etc but i have no idea how to put them...im such a nooob now..also if anyone have some cool bullbars and rims let me know... @123abc: Again thank u for helping me out..I sent you pm, and email me from the email address i gave you if you have any question. Oh yeah i can guve you credit for what u done..again i still have to put damage model (usually doesnt take too long), or you can put it if you want. god, 3:00 am Pacific time i need sleep..
