Carface80
im ticked! Something is boggin me down im tired and tried its like im always sleepy grrr.. to get this done today...but still behind sked. But ill try to get the freaking interior done at least so i can focus on engines and internal I re-used my interior from my hi res mustang and i have to chop down a lot of geos see the poylcount...only thing missing on interior are the steering wheel stereo, seats and few otehr tings while on extrerior is just the side mirror and the little trinklets... I got 25,000 poly's and im still shoppign a lot of uneccecary geometries. then the car is in dire need of engines and undercarriage. At the end it may ended up around 30,000-33,000 Im dropping a 390 FE engine i got some of the refs i need @007: Yeah Shelby GT 500 is fancier and more sportier, but still only got famous because of Nicolas Cage in Gone in 60 second, while this car been an icon in silverscreen for 30 years (noted one of best car chase). Sp!tfire
looks great! but as far as i remember, the bullitt-mustang doesn't have that chrome around the taillights. i'd show some pictures to compare but i unfortunately don't have any. Well hard to see but those tailight trim are painted over with black (and most chrome parts) I got a got site to keep the car authentic as possible http://www.ponysite.de/bullitthowto.htm

Bonsaijodelfisch
just one thing, i think the windsheeld (correct spelling) could be quite a bit higher. apart from that great work!! luvin' it (p.s. windsheelds are my speciality, i always complain about that, other german modelers could sing songs about this nasty behavior of mine )

_RicH_
lookin good, reminds me of the high poly one i started ages ago, so much so i found the files and took a look back it, nearly 2 years since i touched it anywho the windscreen (hey im british) does need to be made taller, apart from that everythin else looks great oh and i thought i'd upload this incase it was useful: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ch.white/fb/fb_under.jpg i used it for mine, pic of the 1/18 ertl model i own. keep up the good work. Carface80
@ Rich: Lovely! thanks, man, that's pretty useful, specially the transmission, front uspension and exhaust (btw i saved it). Ill try keeping the car within 40,000 tris or under.... with all the modeled parts i put in (rather than making the wheel and other round object perfectly round) some subtle update and majority of update are inside the hood, im slowly assembling a simple 390 engine Fixed the windscreen, i put some material on supposed to be the chrome trim... Carface80
Yess thecar is done, at least the modeling now im now facing with grusome task of putting textures in it (yes this is going to be texture intesive a bit (no hi res texture tho) I been working on and off with this car for too long yes a polymonster SOB passed roughly 41,000 and if you add damage models (around 8000 tri's) this is not a model with pretty body and crappy interior, I modeled the interior accordingly thoe real one, so the pillars and door jams are modeled.... engines and suspension are also modeled...i noticed BFinjector have animated suspension (independent) and the monter have solidbar... is there is a possibility i can use the solid bar and independent together? Im new with san andreas modding and this is going to be ( along with blazer) first San Andreas native port. Screens is going to be posted as soon i finished this car.. and if this fat bastard works well in my laptop well you'll see Because this car is such a polymonster im probably not going to make another one...in fact my olds 442 is probably medium poly...24,000 max i think... Nurburing
I think you should do hi-res textures and low-res textures cuz it's cooler for the peoples who have a good video card. Edit: For the animated suspension, ask 123abc, he already do that for his International C-130.
91RS
I believe you can do independent in the front and solid in the back, but that is a hard coded function and the cars that have the ability to do independent suspension all won't sound right (in my opinion). You can however do solid front and rear on any car by setting the animation group to 20 which is mtruck I believe. You can find out the full details in dex's car guide.
