JoeyLeone25
T-Rex(s) V King Kong, was one of the best fight/action scenes I've seen in a long time. I thought it was pretty sh*t to be honest....JUST KIDDING IT WAS FOOKING BRILLIANT! Two words to describe this film? THE sh*t. One of my top 3 films of the year! Lazlowrocks.
OH. MY. f*ckING. GOD. Yeah, I just saw it. There's one thing I don't get, a 25 foot gorilla falls off the top of the empire state building. He weighs more then a tractor trailer, and doesnt even leave a mark in the street. What the f*ck? CaliGangstar
I guess Im the only person who thought the movie was too short. After you meet Kong everything flows pretty well, but before then not so much. Ann and Jack only talk twice, but then OMGLOVE. The Hayes/Jimmy thing got kind of annoying because the movie jumps right into the drama and crap between them before really introducing us to them and building their characters up. Besides that it was pretty awesome.

Dunpeal
T-Rex(s) V King Kong, was one of the best fight/action scenes I've seen in a long time. I thought it was pretty sh*t to be honest....JUST KIDDING IT WAS FOOKING BRILLIANT! ^ Aye I had mixed feelings on the movie. It was great in parts, then it was a let down in the rest. Like when kong falls, i was like sh*t yea 25 foot ape gonna hit the building on the way down, somehow he lands smack in the middle of the street. 5 on to 1 fight betweena Gorilla and T Rex' never go's astray though. RoAcHcliP
Adrian Brody was pissing me off a bit, running off to save the girl every damn time. Hes supposed to be a writer not an action hero. They had Kong perfect, from the ape behaviour to his big brown eyes, Watts was perfect too. Was long, but a good kind of long. Peter Jackson, i hope you make more movies. 8/
Jordan
Actually they are V-Rex's, not T-Rex's. *runs*
GTA3Freak-2001
Actually they are V-Rex's, not T-Rex's. *runs* Indeed because aren't they like decendants of the T-Rex or something? I've only played the game so the mentioning of them being called V-Rex's was slim in the game.
_-playero-_
Just came from the movie. Wow, I'm truly amazed this time. It was a great movie, long but astonishing. Jack Black's performance was amazing. I've only seen him in comedy movies, but his interpratation of Evan Parke shows what a great actor he is. Andy Serkis is a great actor as well. And Naomi Watts looks so f*cking beatiful in this film... I loved the representation of 1930 in this film. Jordan said it was digitally created... wow! Such detail, it makes you wanna be there. The visual effects are awesome. Take the Empire State with the planes for example; it was outstanding. I haven't seen the original film, so I can't compare the storyline. Final words: Peter Jackson once again proves he is a great director. I'm sure we are going to see an Academy Award for him again next year. BTW: I read somewhere that Andy Serkis is in the movie. My guess is that he made the body capture of Kong... am I right? Edited December 19, 2005 by _-playero-_

Goodfella.
Yes they are called v-rex's. The dino's on skull island have had the oportunity to evolve the millions of years since the rest of their species went extinct, the v-rex even has three fingers (nod to the t-rex in the original movie). So yeah, it's an evolved form of the t-rex. Regarding Kong not destroying the ground, you don't actually see him hit it. He could hit the lower ledges of the building first breaking his fall etc, there very well might be an inprint under his body.. who knows, I don't think it's that big a deal to be honest. SBizz6
Just saw this movie last night...and wow. I was thoroughly impressed by Peter Jackson and this film. I thought the length was perfect, and the effects in it were absolutely amazing. I crapped myself when the dinosaurs were running throught that canyon, and i was very impressed on how life-like kong was. Definately one of the best films I've seen in a while. Highly recommended by me.
papanesta
The end put a lump in my throat for a wee while. I was f*cking loving it everytime he smacked a plane down. I loved the whole thing, to be honest. And wow at the special effects.
D Jones
Yeah, great movie. There is some comedic times in the movie, especially when the women (forgot name) performs in front of Kong, and I guess he enjoys it and starts knocking her down and such. And whenever the Braunchosaurus (Long necked dinosaurs) starting falling over, I laughed for some reason. King Kong vs. 3 Rex's = Greatest Monster Fight Scene. In the original movie, I believe it showed Kong falling down, and even hit one of the levels of the building, but it didn't show that. I also think in the original, whenever he fell, the women was in his hands, but she survived the fall. But I just think that's what happened in the Original. Still, awesome movie . Did anyone find Naomi Watts scream, the most teeth grinding thing ever? Edited December 20, 2005 by D Jones
-shaDow
I guess Im the only person who thought the movie was too short. I agree completely. Many scenes (particularly character development scenes, such as the love between Ann and Jack that you mentioned) seemed too rushed. Above all that, the movie completely f*cking ruled. Definitely Oscar worthy. I also don't get how anybody could have cried at this movie, but maybe I'm just too full of raw manliness to be affected. papanesta
Watts was stunning I thought. And screams always hurt. But that movie is known for her screaming. I watched the original right before I went to the cinema. I love the way they kept most of all the old scenes, the important ones anyway. The bit with the bugs was absolutely disgusting, the lack of music in that bit only added to the "Eeew", *shivers*

Andrewbot
I just got back from seeing it, it was amazing. I still have a few complaints though. The whole bug scene, totally not needed other than an excuse to kill a few more of the boat crew. And when Kong went to his perch during the sunset, Ann got the rocks and started juggling, it's like "Stop being an attention whore bitch!". Oh well It was painful watching Kong ripping arpart the Rex's head, the sounds, ahhh. Kong picking up all the blondes and throwing them was hilarious though, as was the whole Rex vs Kong fight part where they were falling through the vines, and the rex rocking back and forth, and Ann is caught between the two Rex's, I was laughing. D Jones
Yes, the bug scene was weird. All the bugs in tha movie and f*cking weird and nasty, thank god they're not that big nowadays .
NorthwestRastafarian
The bugs were a little over the top for me, but I truly loved this movie... better than the original, in my opinion.
Goodfella.
I was kinda freaked by the giant wangs eating Lumpy the chef, what a great death scene though, I'm suprised they got it in a twelve. To be honest Naomi Watts never really did it for me, but now ... Edited December 22, 2005 by Goodfella.

GTA3Freak-2001
I never thought I'd say that the movie was just a little bit too long, with LOTR I wished it was longer then the already 3 hours so to hear that Kong was long was great. I just thought some of the scenes went on too long and some just seemed quite strange. I think Jack Black was the best, Naomi Watts to me wasn't anything special as any woman could of played the part. Did anyone notice that Andy Serkis also played as the Chef on the boat? Really without him I think the movie would of been like Godzilla because he brought Kong to life so much more then anyone could of done with just the aid of a computer.
