yf4e10 Posted December 14, 2005 Share Posted December 14, 2005 ok.... im going for 100% completion, and i was doing vigilante..... i got to level 12 and beat it and up came the message "armor increased to 150." then i got out of the car and started to head to a save point... the time was still counting down to get back to a cop car, and i got run over and died. "MISSION FAILED"... so my question is- even though the message about beating level 12 came up, does it count despite me failing afterwards? ps- i went to briefing on the menu and the message was there, and then i walked up to a gang member, and got shot intentionally, and saw no change in the time it takes for my armor to go away. do i have to redo it? pdescobar Posted December 14, 2005 Share Posted December 14, 2005 Another way to check is to pick up an armor spawn and then look at the Player section of the Stats screen; the armor stat is listed numerically. Most likely it registered and the reason you got the mission failed message is because you can continue to do vigilante beyond level 12, so the mission was technically still running when you left the car. I don't think you will have a problem... //edit// Oops just re-read your post-- since you died with it still going... you might have failed it and have to redo it--- I honestly don't know.... I'd check the above ways.... to be safe just redo it.... I think this increased armor thing u get when you've completed level 12 of the mission isn't too useful really. The paramedic, firefighter and even burglary missions offer better upgrades to CJ. ajkhan316` Posted December 14, 2005 Share Posted December 14, 2005 You need atleast vigilante level 12 if you are going for 100% completion. Any extra you do after that has no effect whatsoever on the percentage completed.
