you start with $350 not much i know but you can build it up with 3 simple steps

 

1. go to the bar just down the road from grove street play pool for money do this until you have $10,000 or more

 

2. (optional) buy the house in idlewood near the hospital in jefferson and glen park (you don't have to do this but it saves time later) whether you do this or not you must save at this point

 

3. go to the betting shop under the mulholland intersection and bet all your money on the green horse if you lose then load from the last point this is why you should buy the idlewood house it is closer to the betting shop than grove street.

This could actually help some first time players . When I start off I like to do the side-missions like the Ambulance, Vigilante etc. It gives me money and allows me to get the rewards a lot earlier.

 

Anybody else have suggestions on how to get money quick at the beginning?

Something I did was stand in front of a stripper in a stripclub to steal their money it's enough for the first part.-Slurp Slurp, Hmmm... Sprunk!

IT would eb faster just to run over a few dealers and get like 2k off of each.

yeah but you gotta search for the dealers if you do that the best place to go is glen park

burglary missions are good roughly 10k a go but try and do taxi missions etc because you need to do them later on anyway
