icepsp
Hey guys, I bought my UMD and PSP here in Iceland. Me and my brother have been playing it now for a while and we've got about three saves in it. My brother hasn't finished alot, about 33%, and I've got a little bit more. The other save is just for fun. All of a sudden we aren't able to load the other saves. You can only play the save that comes up when you turn on the game. The PSP doesn't freeze, just the game. If you wait for like 20 minutes eventually there will come a message on the psp saying: Error loading from UMD. Has any1 had a problem like this? Im about to call my local gameseller and freak out, but before I do I wanted to check on you guys... Thanks, Icelandic PSP fan...
GTA3Freak-2001
Hmm I've never heard of this problem before, are there any visible marks on the silver underside of the UMD to indicate its damaged or something? Then again it sounds like its save game related even though it says "can't read from UMD".
Vanillainy
On the save where you just messed about did you use cheats and save? It may be that.
Wound
I have the same problem. My PSP was bought in London it was a Japanese Import. I got the GTA game here in Norway. There is no problem loading my normal save on startup but if I try to start a new game or load the save ingame i have to do it at a spesific time...not pressing the load buttons too fast or too slow...it sux. Now I have finished all my missions and am about to go to Shoreside Vale, but the game freezes and won't load. I'm wondering if there is something wrong with my PSP or if it has something to do with my PSP being Japanese. It sux!! I'll never be able to finish it. Oh and by the way, I haven't used any cheats. Raptomex
I would restart (unfortunately) if I were you and from now on and backup the save game files on your computer.
