OrangeWindies
Windows XP SP2, ATI Mobility Fire GL T2 graphics 128MB, Intel Pentium M 1.7GHz, 1GB RAM I have an IBM T42p laptop, which has a fairly good (for a laptop) graphics card but terrible sound (SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio, can't do hardware mixing). This seems to result in the game slowing down badly when it changes radio station and generally if there are too many sounds happening at once. Is there some way of turning the radio off for all cars? I've set "radio off" in the options, I've told it to auto-tune and set the radio volume to zero but it still slows down to a crawl whenever I get in a new car and it tries to start one of the radio stations. Any suggestions?
Knife
There is not a way to compleately stop all radios. Whan you set the radio to be automatic and you have the radio off in your current car it shouldn't come on in the next car you get in.
