creative madman
well, i just skinned the PGA dff to an SA one, however, what i dident realise is that the arms being up ..... is actully transferd into the game, yes your model works, yes they run using their legs shoot with the gun in their hand.......but their arms are spread like a crazy person doing a bad impression of a bird. oh yay now i can go back, CHANGE the mesh and re-skin, gosh, that wasent a stupid mistake or anything youve been warned
confusedbattery
hm . . . im a little confused now i don't know what PGA dff is but i think you mean that you converted a char for example fom VC to SA . . . (?) did you forget to import the SA bones before skinnig it and skinned the character to the VC bones ? if so i wonder that the dff did not crash sa because i think the bone structure is a litte different . . . hm maybe not. but what is more important, is that i think you do not need to reskin it now . . . if you have already skinned the character and the bone structure is identical you can simply move the vertices. unless you don't need to change topology of the model this should work just fine. creative madman
thanks, pga is player goon a, the blonde gang member of vercetti's gang, i skinned it with an SA boneset yes, but the meshs are made differently, in Vice city they are standing with their arms up at 90 degree angles to their bodys, wheras in San Andreas their arms are more at their sides. thanks for the advice, ill just move the verticles, if the skinning remains, that should fix it, thanks
