just another thug
Well here I am, another tech problem. This time its with a video camera. I have a camera that burns to mini CD-Rs when you record. Grand. So I record a few different things for a school project. Then I go pop it into my computer to rip the video and it causes my computer to freak out. Explorer quits and the whole bit. So then I try it in a DVD player. It can't read the disk. So then I put it back into the camera and I get an error message that says "The image of the disk has been damaged". And it asks me if I would like to repair. I say yes, it says repairing for a while then it says "Could not repair, check disk". There are no scratches whatsoever on the disk. I have no idea whats wrong and I really need this to work since its for a school project. Any help?
PresidentKiller
This kind of problem is usually caused by unsupported brands of CD or DVD media. Get a better brand (they usually say they support devices such as video cameras) and see if the problem persists.
Cran.
This might not help, but if you can, try the cd on another computer.
just another thug
The brand says "Camcorder DVD-R" right on it. It got messed up when I recorder for 15 minutes. The burn lines are smeared a little, like when you can tell where it stoped putting data on, that line is a little smeared. I think that is what's it. I just don't know how that happened.
