Maybe they're mature enough to realize they cannot handle the responsibility? Maybve they just can't be bothered? Maybe they figure they're not active enough? Plus, we have enough mods/led-bys as is, IMPO. I definitely agree on wolf68k being a PC Mod . EDIT: @TMcK: It would still be nice for them to get offered.. EDIT: Added specific postions for Mxyz as he don't have the PC version. but he still has the knowledge with all the time spent in there . Justin Posted December 12, 2005 Share Posted December 12, 2005 While on the topic, I'm totally up for Vice City led-by. But yeah, wolf is definitely worthy of PC led-by in my opinion. And 'nuj would make a mighty fine global mod if I do say so myself. I don't frequent the D&D forum enough at all to make a valued judgement on Sag, so I'll leave it at that. As brought up earlier in the topic, it's not just a matter of deciding whether the member is appropriate for the task - the member has to have a say in it too. In any case, most forums are adequately moderated anyway, so it's not necessarily needed. I do, however, still agree with the above nominations/suggestions. I'm referring directly to global moderator positions. Do we need anymore additions to the staff list in that department? I'm not saying anuj or previously mentioned members are not fit for the job, I'm just saying we have the largest active moderating team this forum has probably ever had. In my experience, it's only happened once, and even then it was just some tosser spamming a bit - easily sorted when the staff returned. Although activity will be higher over the Xmas break, so will the activity of the staff most likely. The staff are best placed to judge whether they've got too many or too few, although what you say may or may not be true for specific areas. Im pretty sure I've read numerous times before that you wouldn't want the job but you really do seem an ideal candidate since you actually seem to <i>care</i> about the state of the forum.To be honest I have little love for the SA forum anymore, and I'd be more than happy to pass the flame to you - if youd accept and if the higher ups agreed to it.
