Cop Games?

I want a cop game, like SWAT except my PC can't handle that. Anyone got any good suggestions for me? I got a XBOX, Gamecube, and of course my (crappy) PC.

Conflict games are not cop games AFAIK.

 

I played the Cold War demo, didn't really like it.

This kind of makes you realize how much some developer needs to make a decent cop game. Not one with a ridiculous storyline. Just one with a normal storyline with elements like the car chases, standoffs and stuff and with the combat aspects of SWAT and other such games.

Definitely. I'd love to see a very detailed city in which you had to respond to incidents. True Grime doesn't come close to what I'm talking about though. Swat 4 is great, but it's only small maps.

 

Instead I'd like to see a whole city, or at least large chunks of a city in which you battled every kind of goon under the sun. You would be given the ability to go about each incident as realistically as possible, or just as an all out blood wash. It'd basically be like a more open-ended Swat.

 

 

Anyways, I can't think of anything that hasn't been mentioned here, except for Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit. You play through from both the suspect's and detecives' point of views. It's not bad, especially when you get to play as Carla undressed and you can stare straight down at those luscious pixelated tits from a first person view. Mmmm, pixelated tits... But seriously, it's pretty good.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. I actually started a mod idea for HL2 a while ago that was supposed to be like that, but it was too ambitious and died. But if some developer decided to take it and run with it, it might just be insanely successful. I could even see an online mode as well. Something like co-op multiplayer where multiple cops would work with an AI police force and respond to calls. How cool would it be to get in a huge ass standoff in front of a 7-11 with 3 of your buddies as backup?
