Well can someone list me all the places where i can find the minigun?

- Once you collect 60 hidden packages, one can be found at Ocean View Hotel, Vercetti Estate, and Hyman Condo (there's some PS2 stipulation that I'm not certain of the specifics of)

 

- At Phil's place once you complete the Phil "asset"

 

- At the destroyed Haitian complex once you've completed Trojan Voodoo

 

- Use the PC cheat NUTTERTOOLS

If you want the weapons to appear on the roof of the Hyman Condo you have to collect all the packages before you buy it.

on PS2 you must collect 70 packages prior to buying the hyman condo or all the the weapons won't spawn there... just the ones available at the time you purchase it.

 

not sure if this got fixed in later versions---I have the original PS2 version.

Looks like if you're willing to cheat, first thing.

 

Otherwise, it would take passing the final mission of Robina's; passing Shakedown, The Job, and Boomshine Saigon; or collecting 60 packages. Collecting 60 packages from the start of the game would take you about 30-45 minutes.

 

If speed is what you're looking for, download a 100% savegame. That way you have the minigun AND infinite ammo.

After collecting 60 packages, it'll always spawn at the Ocean View Hotel, Vercetti Estate and on top of the Hyman Condos.

Here is a guide to get to the 2nd island prior to doing any missions-- this is the most frequently used way... its not hard to get the packages right off. Demarest's ultimate start for 100%

Exactly. Once you've collected 10, go buy Skumole and save. That way if you should die or whatever, you can choose to just reload and already be across the pond.

Here is another way that works for PS2 (not sure about the other platforms).. I read about it when looking for the above thread and never heard of this before.

 

You have to have a save in which you can do missions the second island.....

 

Load up the game-- start a mission that is given to you on the west island. NOw pause and start a new game. After new game starts, die or get busted-- when you appear at hospital or police station there will be a cab there with an arrow.. get in it, it will deliver you to the place where you were given the mission (second island if that is where you started the mission from)....

sort of, not the mission, the location the mission was given-- I posted this in the pinned buglist in the troubleshooting section... I linked back to the OLD thread that mentioned this if you want to read about it.
