ccrogers15 16
Once in awhile for fun i get around to playing it on PS1. As i own the original disks.
Kent Traffic Cop 6
GTA1? No. No saving, plus the game has lots of Fake Difficulty. GTA2? I've played a fair amount of it, but it got boring. Fake difficulty? I've been playing it a little while now - plus London '69 & '
DeadWorld 0
I'm playing it now.
Bantri 9
I need to get back to playing it. I started, but I never got anywhere mission wise. Just messing and driving around haha.
chrismartin4u 0
I know that many GTA games have been released since it's first edition. But Still Playing GTA 1 gives me lots of pleasure. Whenever I play it I just lost in memories of my past life when I used to play this game with my friends.
ZoomZoom 10
I would love to play but I can't I don't have it. Must try to download it.
Kiffster 2,209
I haven't even touched the game this millennium. The last time I played GTA was in '98/'99, before GTA2 was released. The same with London. I absolutely loved the game and it used to be my favourite game back then, but I highly doubt that I will ever play it again.
Ss4gogeta0 1,871
I might go back to playing it... been listening to the Brooklyn Underground station over and over for the past couple of weeks... luckly I still have the Rockstar Classics version
Queen Elizabeth II 3,225
I tried, but camera movements are so annoying..
//XP// 1,191
I tried, but camera movements are so annoying..That's the only flaw of the game...That sh*t gives you headaches ...it's good that they fixed that in 2 Edited August 2, 2014 by HazzardX
skyeyemx 94
I still play it, though!
skyeyemx 94
I play it like, once a day. I still like it, and the camera isn't that bad. The controls just need a bit of gettin used to, then you're fine.
NightmanCometh96 446
I play the top down games (minus GTA Advance) every once in a while, although I never get far at all. I guess I was spoiled by playing through III and Vice City first, because I still haven't gotten used to the camera in any of the games (though GTA 2's camera is more tolerable than 1/London's). *Don't get me wrong, that does not make the top down games bad in the slightest*
Jeansowaty 6,165
I just managed to fix it up. Playing it all!
theNGclan 9,744
I was playing it before class this morning.
CallumL 202
Got it on disc, somewhere. Don't play it anymore though.
Jeansowaty 6,165
Gonna do Mandarin Mayhem soon. The fact that you can't save and that the targets kill you in one shot is damn annoying, but meh. At least the cutscenes are hilarious.
Harerama Chakraborty 94
I used to play it a long time ago, I feel there is a 99.9% chance that I will not play it again. The top down view, the missions and its graphics just sucks. I'd rather play other GTA games.
FilthyEsquire 574
I finally mad the thing run reliably on my laptop, with my PS3 controller. The game has aged remarkably. I still love it! I'll probably be playing it for months. Until I get through most of it. The camera is an issue? Try getting through the city with that arrow... LOL!
FilthyEsquire 574
After five days... 3 days really, this game is still great as I remember it. The missions can be hectic at times with the police on your tail, and I am glad the series hasn't gotten rid of that yet. I'm starting to get much better at driving though the traffic pattern really does keep you in check. And the tank? The tank is amazing! Finally on level 2 chapter one. The dialogue still hasn't grown stale either. I can easily see why I rented the game five times, and eventually purchased.
kailomonkey 41
Not regularly no. Recently replayed it. Expected the top-down PS graphics and gameplay to be hard going but it's actually as addictive as ever! Expecting difficulty (I always remembered getting stuck at Vice City) I mapped each level and its power-ups and recorded mission successes/failures. Did lose once in SA and once in VC I think but completed it YAY I hope to get my youngest nephews on it some day. They love the PS3 GTAs...
Maryo_Nicle7 96
It's still good to play it now as a nostalgia beside you've other GTA series games on your console or PC, as GTA Fans Edited December 21, 2014 by Rizqan
helpplease 168
The sound track is amazing; think i may download the music because its great. Too bad it gets repetitive kinda quick.
Dog Poo 1
I was just about to play it but the classic download is unavailable..
PhillBellic 24,564
I haven't played the game for a couple of years, however I still listen to the Radio Stations on a weekly basis.
Jeansowaty 6,165
So this sums up GTA1 had the best soundtrack (imo)
Stoney0503 6,233
I sometimes play GTA 1 but I mostly play GTA London 1969 more if that still counts.

piko 191
It's one of the few GTA's I haven't completed yet so I'm giving it a go, the police make the ones in GTA V seem calm as hell though
