I mean I start the game, sound works alright but it isn't running with a smooth frame rate. It's definitely an issue with modern PCs, but I heard you can change the performance settings to be compatible with Win98 for older games. I don't know how to do it though... I don't know how to do it though... Did you try this? Click start button > run > dxdiag > sound > change sound acceleration to basic or none. Remember to change it back for other games. Kinda Off Topic- Interesting that I've been a GTA fan since 1998, and I've never played London 69. Well that changed today. I actually bought it along with GTA 1, and II, but never bothered playing it because I thought you had to do all of that "Put in the disc, take it etc" crap like the instructions say. I played gta1 untill gta 2 released,then i played gta 2 untill GTA VC released, then i played it untill GTA SA released and know,when GTA IV released - i play GTA IV. I cant stand the one shot and your dead thing in GTA. In other arcade games its fine but for a game like GTA I dont like it. Xegethra Posted October 1, 2009 Share Posted October 1, 2009 i still play it from time to time. gta 2 is my favorite gta though. but the first and second gta's are so freaking hard....not because of the view and "crappy gameplay" but because when someone shoots at you, they get their aim right. and car destruction was more realistic...in gta 1 there was no smoke to tell you its bust. it just made a rickety sound and it blew up. awesome game, wasnt so pretentious back then....
