GTA Smart Dude 0
I own all the GTA's except for gta advance but gta1 isnt that great. its too easy to die and u can only try missions 1 time and i dont like the life thing.i think its a good game since its the one that started the series. i hate the lack of not being able to save until u complete a level. marcnutty 0
Yep, I installed GTA1 on PC the other day along with Vice City and San Andreas. Dunno if I should install GTA 3 again lol, since I have LCS so...

oipolloi 2
I first read about it like 6 months before it came out, and was as hyped for it as all the 12 year olds are about GTA 4 today, got it on the first day it came out and told myself i'd play it for a least 5 minutes every day of my life... well i did for about 3 years instead XD
FulVal85 32
join gta1 with me ?
WillzyyyGTA 154
i still play it in my sparetime, kinda relaxing u know, it's a real classic, never getting old to me. That goes the same for me with GTA 1, 2, 3 and 4 (VC) they will NEVER get old! And "I" doesn't suck....There would be no SA or III or VC if it wasn't for this game!
100ºCJ 0
Ok i need pplz addresses so i can connect and play against u all on da net
Sektor 107
GTA1 is really slow and unreliable on the net (often goes out of sync). It doesn't even have a working chat feature.
FulVal85 32
is slow only if acceleration hardware of sound is set to full. if you set acceleration to basic this game can run smoother; and you must also set sample rate to standard. chat feature can work sometimes. Rio Fantastic 0
I am playing this game at the moment, partly due to my odd obsession with completeing all the games in a paticular series before tackling the latest one. I'm really getting into it and enjoying it, I've gotten to San Andreas now (wahey!) and I'm working for the "venerable Uncle Fu". I really like it, but the timed missions are really aggravating, and you can't save - but apart from that, this is a good game, and I doubt I'll ever get bored of it. Dolven 0
I played it for hours at a time when it first came out, these days still play it for about an hour a month.
Anamon 0
I am playing this game at the moment, partly due to my odd obsession with completeing all the games in a paticular series before tackling the latest one. That's far from odd I think, it's very normal. If you want to really get into a game/movie/story/whatever, you even have to do this. I suffer from it too If friends recommend a TV show, I can't just start watching it either, I first have to watch all the previous seasons and episodes. No other way to catch up and know everything about it
SHXC 104
No man, GTA1 is f*cked up. I'm not f*cked up
JernejL 61
GTA1 is really slow and unreliable on the net (often goes out of sync). It doesn't even have a working chat feature. it does have semi-working chat (keys F1 to F4 for 4 players)
Sektor 107
The F1-F4 chat feature doesn't work on any of my Windows PCs (you can type the message but it isn't displayed on the other PC). It did work in the DOS version of GTA.
[.DUB 93.] 0
NO#1 is the game that started it all and it was obv good at the time but it sucks now and whoever plays it is obviously trapped in a cave (without proper video games to keep them civiliesed!) lol
Abel. 5,854
Yeah, but it was awesome in its day.

binky 0
I recently downloaded it and wrote my name in burnt out cop cars for old time's sake but I couldnt get back into it. I'd much rather fire up andreas and stunt,
DarthTemplar 1
I moved on to GTA2 when I found it superior to GTA1 in every way
Makotronic 0
I moved on to GTA2 when I found it superior to GTA1 in every way true. gta1 is cool, until you play it. that zooming in and out made you crash the car very easy... gta2 got the gfx to be better and the gameplay... there was basically no storyline since your just a henchman and you do jobs to get paid. But it still was nice.
Icarus 651
I got the original GTA from Rockstar's website and play it now-and-then. It was the first GTA game I played, so it will always hold a special place in my gaming heart. 'tis definitely a classic!
gtamodder 8
I moved on to GTA2 I liked GTA2 Much better and I do play that a lot more. I played GTA1 For a few minuites, then I uninstalled it from my PC
