Did you read the part of the readme which explains that you have to edit the veh_mod.dat fle for the game to use the textures instead of the vehicles.txd file? ***************VEH_MODS.DAT* ************** - Now you need to edit veh_mods.dat which is located in your data\maps\veh_mods folder. You will find an entry in there for each wheel... change "vehicle" into wheel_*.* for each entry... e.g. old: wheel_gn1, vehicle, ... new: wheel_gn1, wheel_gn1, ... that's about it for adding the wheels. So have a merry X-Mas and a happy new year with it. Screenshots are always welcome and make my days... so carry on posting if you like. @toby122, please read the readme properly and stop stamming up the topic with your questions. Your english is hard to understand, maybe that is the problem. if the wheels appear white in game, then that is to do with veh_mods.dat, like GTAFreak2001 said. you need to change every line in there for the wheels... and sending it to you is not a good idea, because everyone changes it in their own way I'm sure... Ducati996 Posted December 6, 2005 Author Share Posted December 6, 2005 sorry to say toby 122 but I have no idea what you did to your game... your picture tells me this... the wheel sr4 in your game is really the model I released as wheel_gn4, wheel_sr5 is supposed to be wheel_sr3 and wheel_sr6 is supposed to be wheel_sr5... looks pretty f***** up to me to be honest... I have never seen or had any problems like that. I don't know if you have used an installer or something maybe... but I can not help you there, sorry. only suggestion i have if you have edited all the files necessary... then open gta3.img... search ("F2") for "wheel_gn", "wheel_lr", "wheel_sr" and "wheel_or". The results for the search have to all be deleted from your archive... then reinstall all the wheels from my wheelmod, without renaming any files please and after that rebuild the archive. OptionaCapacitor Posted December 7, 2005 Share Posted December 7, 2005 (edited) arg, the maker of the wheels um when i go into the editing of the vehicle at transfender when i click on a wheel the wheel doesnt show up it doesnt let me submitt. I have everything installed perfectly its just the in game wont let me edit the wheels when i bring any car to transfender. in this pic heres how ill explain this when i click on any of the wheels nothing happends and i have everything perfectly i replaced the vehicle, with the wheel_gn1 type stuff each desired one i changed perfectly and i used image tools to replace the wheel_gn1 type dffs and stuff and i rebuilded the archive and all that but the wheels dont show up at all.
