that went very wrong, very quick. the stig is lucky there wasn't anything harder than a tire wall around.

 

although, i am sure if there had been, he would have known, and wouldn't have pushed it so hard through that corner. it will be great seeing what that car can do with some downforce over those rear tires

f*cking awesome. i loved the "Buy a car for under 100 pounds" challenge. sitting and aruging over what qualifys as a broken bone. those challenges are always the best. like when jeremey's "supercar" starting sh*tting engine parts and he ended up in the bush, you just never see stuff like that on tv around here.

To be honest, in the UK Top Gear is the only program of its kind. There's nothing that rivalls it. This is the only thing I watch. Nothing else really interests me bar a few Import shows where they're upto series 56 in the US or something.

It would have probably been real, but it did look setup a bit, since the cameras were catching the motor on fire and all..

 

Meh.

 

08x02 was good, but not as good as 08x01. Maybe next week will make up for the okay episode of this week. But none the less, the corvette review was amazing with the fire.

Stig doing a lap in Liana and beating all the F1 drivers was quite awesome. Now they need to get Tiff Nedell on the show, and put him against The Stig.

That was classic, especially when Stiggy just walked away before Jeremy even said the time. As for Tiff, that would be interesting, since he was in old Top Gear til after Jeremy left, and then after that was really unpopular. So he left with the other host that was left, Vicky to make 5th Gear.

They just look at the price and the terms of practicailty. That's it. They don't review the cars with the love and passion of Top Gear, which makes Fifth Gear, a boring show. Top Gear also bring some humour into the review, they can make any old boooring car review funny as hell.

Yah I do agree Fifth GeaR is a dull show compared to Top Gear. That doesnt stop me from watching it. It does in a way remind me of old Top GeaR. Bad thing?
