I know a way to make it snow outside the carsalemans missions. Using the cheat device get to level 9 in the car salemans and then turn on device and swicth the set weather to on and it will stay snowing all the time

That won't work, BUT, you may be onto something. Here's what someone should try. Do NOT turn on the weather editor cheat at all. If you don't turn it on, it shows you what weather mode the game naturally chooses. Do the missions, get to level 9, now look at what it says. If it's a number, tell me what it is and I can program it in.

 

Hopefully this will settle it once and for all whether the snow is a weather mode or part of the mission script.

Anyway 2.60 should be the same as 2.50 because there is no security update in it.

You'd need a huge garage to fit a hunter in, its alot bigger than the regular chopper you get in the heli in your garage save game (I forget its name).

I think he only said don't use it for doing missions cause it brings your criminal rating down...I doubt there would be a conflict between the mission scripting and this cheat device.

edison, whats the point of doing 2.5 when you could do 2.6 and since 2.5 doesnt add anything special as to being able to mod... why not just everyone who has 2.5 upgrade to 2.6 and as should you and then no one would have 2.5.... they would have 2.6.... you should just mod 2.6 instead of 2.5.... because i want and i dont know if i speak for myself... but want the new features...

what I think you should do is for all those 2.0 user, keep one of your psp's at 2.0 and then keep one psp always up to date on firmware. So they would need to have the latest version or 2.0 to use your cheat device. Cause I really want the abiltiy to play wma's.... Thanks for listenign

I'm buying a new PSP to upgrade to 2.5 (poor thing). It's on its way. I don't want to upgrade one of the ones I have in case the new one comes with 2.01 or higher already on it. Of course I still need to have a 2.0 PSP to be able to do stuff. Don't worry about the donations, I've got it covered. Shame on the people saying just upgrade to 2.5 and screw the 2.0 people.

 

I had a couple testers check a test program on the UK version to see how different it is, and it was different enough that it would be too involved to do it through a remote person. A copy of the UK version is already on its way from Hong Kong.

 

I would like to make a mission select mod, but the mission script language has some changes and there isn't a 0417 start_mission code in the script code that starts the R3 missions. I may need to post a question for some help from the mission script experts.

 

What I meant when I said not to use this for missions is that you wouldn't want to use this when you're doing the missions and planning to save your game. You know, when you're playing through it the first time. It's perfectly fine to play missions with it, I just wouldn't use it if you're doing missions to make progress in the game and then save, because I'm not sure if you could end up having some unknown side effect get stuck in your save that you can't get rid of.

Ok well, you are very impatient or you cant read, mabye both... Well he posted earlier that he has to buy another psp (which he is doing) and download fw 2.5 (hopefully 2.6 instead (read my other post just above yours) yep) So give ti time and dont be impatient it is just a game, and are you going to have a hissy fit because you cant cheat to beat the game... seriously give ti time... edison hasnt been anything but good to us...
