CheatDevice v0.8 for LCS

Edison I need some real help. The cheat device is not showing up on my memory card.

 

1. I downloaded cheatdevice v0.3 and saved it to my desktop.

 

2.I Connected to the computer via my USB

 

3.I went to My Computer and opened cheat device file on the desktop, Inside there were two folders one named PSP and one named README.

 

4.In the upper left hand part of the window there is an option to Extract all files.

 

5.I pressed the button and the program Extaction Wizard came up, I clicked Next to go to the next step in Extraction Wizard.

 

6. It tells me to "select a folder to extract files to:

 

7. Then I push browse to choose the destination of the files

 

8.I navigate to "My Computer"/"Removable Disk (E:)"/"PSP"/"SAVEDATA"/"ULUS10041S0

 

9. Then I press OK, My Destination reads E:\PSP\SAVEDATA\ULUS1004IS0

 

10.Then I press NEXT and the extraction begins, a couple seconds later it says it is complete

 

11. Then I press FINISH and it brings up the files that that are now stored in ULUS10041S0

 

12. The window has:

      PSP

      DATA Bin File 73KB

      ICON0 144x80 50KB

      ICON1.PMF PMF File 50KB

      PARAM.SFO SFO File 5KB

      PIC1 480x272 pngfile

      README Text Document 1KB

 

13. Then I go to the Game menu on my PSP and look at Saved Data Utility and the top save does not have the little helicopter icon like it is supposed to. But I run the game and load the first save and nothing L1 and up do not bring up a menu.

 

Please Help

if I understood you correct then you have extracted the the entire thing into the savgame folder?

you should extract them into the main area (E:) that way the ULUS folder gets in the savegame folder and not the PSP folder

What do you mean the main area?

Extract the archive to a temp folder (make one of your one) and copy the ul folder in the dir PSP/SAVEDATA/

So download the cheatdevice extract it to a new folder and copy the new folder in E:\PSP\ SAVEDATA.

all you have to do is, copy the ULESBLABLA folder to your PSP in the folder SAVEDATA, then load the savegame and you will have a cheatdevice...

also go to maroc's bistro and go up the stairs then up the next lot and your on the roof section, you'll notice a raised bit of floor so you could drive a bike off the roof, and to where? mybye the roof next to it. its a little bit higher up. well go up there and powerjump over the roof and theres a big open section of grass, and at the far end theres a jump. whys this?

is there away you could put that place in the teliporter, so we could teliport into there and do the jump on a bike???

i was thinking about this, does it mean like grass or road?

 

so if you were on a piece of grass you could go into the cheatdevice and change it to road? or does it mean like RAMP if so could changing the hex to the RAMP hex make a RAMP appear where your stood? therefor we could add RAMPs anywhere to make some uberfun tricks?

Um... Can someone back me up, i'm stuck, how am i gonna tell you this...

 

 

all you have to do is, copy the ULESBLABLA folder to your PSP in the folder SAVEDATA, then load the savegame and you will have a cheatdevice...

I think I understand Do I go into the cheatdevice and grab the ULUSblablabla out of the cheatdevice it self and copy it on E:\PSP\SAVEDATA and that will replace my first save with the cheat devices first save.

Not quite, you must copy the FOLDER with the contents in it, and copy the entire FOLDER to you PSP

The folder in the cheat device that reads ULUSblablabla.I need to copy that folder in E:\PSP\SAVEDATA or do I need to open that folder(ULUSblablabla) and copy the 4 items in it to E:\PSP\SAVEDATA

No, the folder called ULESBLABLA that folder must be copied (in whole) to PSP/SAVEDATA

You might have put them in E:\PSP\SAVEDATA\ULUS10041SO\PSP\SAVEDATA\ULUS10041S0

 

If you put your destination to E:\ it would probably work. The archive has the subdirectories in it so all you should have to do is extract to the root of the drive.

Uhm, well i've 2.6 so i can't use it, but i think it was L1+UP to load the device.

 

I heard something about load the cheatdevice first, and then the savegame you want....

Interesting thought. I guess if it was a pointer to the object you're standing on, it would actually be possible for the cheatdevice to find objects by having you stand on them. Possibly change its color to white or something. This is pretty far fetched though and doubtful it would actually work.

same thing with floats, they're always 4-byte aligned.

 

I guess if you got in a car and wrote down its CarObject pointer, then stood on top of it and could find that value somewhere in the hexdump of the PlayerObject (in reverse order!!) then you'd know for sure. The reverse order is confusing though, so a CarObject pointer like 09123456 would show up in the hex as 56 34 12 09.

Once I load the helicopter Icon the cheat device save game should come up. Then I press L1 and Up to load it. Then I press start and select to load a game of my choice?
