I got a 360 for christmas and I have been trying to get the online features set up on it. We have a wireless router here at home thats what im trying to connect it to. I don't know much about networks and computer hardware etc. But I can get the 360 to connect but it keeps saying the IP address is not recognised. It costs a rediculous $100 USD, and without it, you cant have a true WiFi connection, you need to connect the 360 via a wired connection to your router. I did see this thing on amazon though for a wireless ethernet adapter, just $25 bucks too. It's not an offical 360 product though. Mr.Mister Posted January 20, 2007 Share Posted January 20, 2007 My friend told me that I should get a Netgear wireless router and plug it into my computer and he also says that the signal is really good so I can go online on my PSP, Laptop, Xbox 360, etc. etc. Looks like this: It's $59.99 CAD and I can get it at Staples Buisness Depot, should I get it or you guys got any other reccomendations? BCspeed34 Posted January 20, 2007 Share Posted January 20, 2007 Yeah, if you want wireless XBOX Live, you either need the rediculous 360 adaptor for $100, or you can get this little treasure: XBOX Play Link. It is basically just two ethernet boxes that sync with eachother. One plugs into your router, and one for your 360. Posted February 4, 2007 Share Posted February 4, 2007 Mr. Mister, that's the one I use as well and it works perfectly, although my 360 is connected to it through an Ethernet cable, not wireless.
