No C.R.A.S.H. missions?

I have played the game twice now, and each time I am not able to access any of the C.R.A.S.H. missions! According to what I have been reading, I should get a call during the Madd Dogg's Rhymes mission, but I never get it. Can anyone help out?

I've heard other people having that problem on PC too. The advice they were given was to start over and try missions in another order.

I don't believe you will get calls during missions. Regardless, for me, the CRASH call always comes after I finish the OG Loc mission "Management Issues." So before you restart, do that mission and then walk around for a bit afterward.

Ok, I just redid the game and played OG Loc's missions, played the Madd Dogg's Rhymes mission, no call during or after, and played the Management Issues mission, no call duing, or for a full day (in the game) of playing either.

Just to clarify, after Management Issues, that's a full game day outside, on foot, correct? Because aside from a couple special mission situations, you can't receive phone calls while in a vehicle or inside an interior...

When you say, "I have played the game twice now," what do you mean exactly? Do you mean you've restarted twice now, or you have finished the game (missions anyway) twice now?

 

I ask because the C.R.A.S.H. missions are required to move the storyline along, so I don't see how you could've finished the game twice without doing them. Perhaps you did them already and didn't realize it? (There's only two of them, at least in LS anyway, at the start of the game.)

Yes, full day in the game, most of it on foot.

I played all I was able to up to the C.R.A.S.H. missions. On the first try, I even explored the entire map (perhaps this could be the problem? This is the first GTA where I was able to go everywhere at the start of the game)

No, not yet, first time I was over 50% with her, but on the other three times I didnt work to much with her incase I had the same problems.

If you had dated Denise, you had beat the first CRASH mission. And you can't explore all the map without a wanted level, until after Green Sabre and Yay Ka Boom Boom....

Uh, how? Are you using a mod? In the standard game, you get a 4-star wanted level for crossing onto the other 2 islands.

Again, how did you do this? The first CRASH mission is "Burning Desire," which is how you meet Denise. If you have never done a CRASH mission in the normal game, it is impossible to date Denise.

I got to thinking about the map thing when I posted that, and thought that my Hot Coffee mod/crak (what ever you want to call it) was what was messing it all up. I restarted the game, and I think that is what was causing it. I just finished the first save that you have to do, walked out of the house and got a phone call, thats never happend before. I'll see if this is what was wrong.
