I'm desparate, can anybody give me any idea on how to catch up with the fire truck so Sweet doesn't die?

Ok, I had this problem... I'll do my best to explain how I did it.

 

First thing to remember is: Sweet falls about this point:

 

Now, Dont stay too close to the firetruck. Stay about a cars length away and hopefully, Just hopefully, you'll catch him. Hope I helped.

Also, pay attention to the fire-truck, because I've beaten the game 2 times and I have noticed that when the Vagos/Ballas throw Motvols at you, they don't affect you. So just pay attention to the firetruck and you should be able to get that part done .

an easier way that worked on both times i played the mission is:simply bump the rear of the fire truck ,then sweet will fall right into ure car. sounds stupid and easy. but thats how i finished the game,first time i was not sure if it was a glitsch,so i redid the mission and hit the fire truck again with the same clumsy manner ,and sweet fell again in my car like there was a magnet pulling him or something,try it if doesnt work then i guess there is something wrong with my game:)

Thats actually true. I always bump slightly into the firetruck as soon as the "Grip Meter" comes up and Sweet falls neatly on the hood of my car. But then you have to keep up with the firetruck all the way for this to happen. If not, then try to get just behind the firetruck before the meter runs out and Sweet will drop on your car. Although keep an eye out for the traffic on the highway. You might have to weave in and out of them.
